"I only rate decent?" his general murmurs, amusement curling in his voice. He looks thoroughly indecent, mouth red and bruised, hair mussed, hickeys dotting his throat.

Cody deletes it and sends He's acceptable instead.

Kenobi laughs. "Come back to sleep, my dear," he says, snuggling his nose into Cody's neck. Without bothering to open Wolffe's message - that bad huh ? - Cody allows himself to be rolled over and tucked against his general's front.

He'll deal with the command crew later. Right now they've got four hours before they need to be Marshal Commander or High General of anything, and Cody's all set to spend it sleeping in the arms of a beautiful, terrible, wondrous man.

When they enter the elevator after Obi-Wan was asked to join the Duchess and her retinue upstairs Cody is the last to join them and Obi-Wan is looking at him like a kicked puppy the entire time.

He watches as Cody gets on the elevator and comes to stand beside Rex and then he does his telltale 'looking down and away' thing that is his body language for 'I'm kinda sad'.

As if he noticed Cody is upset because of one thing or another and he feels responsible.

The 212th colors are endlessly fascinating to me, because it's clearly orange, but the fact that Obi-Wan is likely aware of Mandalorian color symbolism and the idea that he chose it and chose to call it gold? Like? What happened?
