the difference between homeschoolers and publicschoolers
publicschoolers: ready for this text post, not fearful at all
homeschoolers: already worried for the possibility of an upcoming roast

Helpful tips for every artist
Here’s some art stuff that helped me improve compiled in a list of sorts. Honestly this isnt the best list of resources but i thought it would be good to put this here as well since i get lots of questions about improving one’s art!
No matter your skill level, i think it’s always important to check yourself and not conform to your current level of artistic ability. There’s always room for improvement! Enjoy! 1- GREAT site for practicing gesture & anatomy (plus other art tips & tricks): https://line-of-action.com/ I’m pretty sure there are tutorials on-site on how to use their tools! 2- Also here’s a very helpful video that helped me figure out some stuff i hadn’t realized about figure drawing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kK71t-I-2w Idk if it’s right for you but it helped me realize some sutff that helped me improve a ton! 3-This video is the one that really helped me understand how to draw hands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-SqpnZ2rnI It’s much more intuitive rather than technical and it made sense (at least to me!) 4- Here’s a tutorial series by Monika Zagrobelna on how to draw all kinds of animals in a more in-depth realistic manner, though if you skim through it you can easily pinpoint specific things you need for details. (e.g: how a tiger’s face or body type is different from a lion’s, can also be applied on anthros) http://design.tutsplus.com/series/h…..–vector-21311 5- Here are a bunch of tutorials on how to draw plus size people! (May include some mild nudity) Link one: (Femenine waist tutorial) http://pseudocide335.deviantart.com…..rial-519226797 Link two: (Hip tutorail) http://cubesona.deviantart.com/art/…..Hips-518222046 Link three: (Body type tutorial) http://projectendo.tumblr.com/post/141818095550 Link four: (Guide to drawing plus size girls) http://winterbramble.tumblr.com/pos…..-meant-to-do-a 6- I encourage you to use pinterest to put together some boards for inspiration, tutorials, poses, etc to help you out when you draw! Here’s mine, you might find some stuff that inspires you! https://www.pinterest.com/DragonbeanArt/
7- I suggest you get “The Art Of” books to look through, they’re incredibly inspiring and contain lots of exclusive art and info about the artistic process of any piece of media.
Some I’d recommend: The art of Zootopia, The art of Overwatch, The art of Spirited Away, The Art of Pixar, The Art of Up, etc. Any film your visually enjoyed should have a stunning The Art Of book! Also a helpful link to a blog with all kinds of paint tool sai brush settings!! http://ptsbrushes.tumblr.com/ AND FINALLY some links to some posts by me i think are important: 1-TIPS TIPS TIPS!! CHECK THIS OUT FIRST: http://dragonbeanart.tumblr.com/pos…..icely-any-tips 2-A lil ramble: http://dragonbeanart.tumblr.com/pos…..us-about-art-i 3-A bit longer ramble: http://dragonbeanart.tumblr.com/pos…..ou-get-to-draw 4-Oversharing at it’s finest. Conclusion: http://dragonbeanart.tumblr.com/pos…..did-you-reason Hope this helps! Remember that tutorials aren’t some kind of holy bible you have to follow meticulously and do exactly what they say you should.
Art has only one rule: there are no rules!
