And for your final fun fact, know that an alternate ending was filmed. After Gil goes into the closet for the first time at the end, there's a pause as Matt takes it all in. Then--Gil flew out again, this time, wearing a Santa hat saying "MATT. Come with me. Your parents are going to die!" This was cut. Ben Worley was concerned that the Santa hat wasn't slimming enough.*

*this is an outright lie.
