If anyone is wondering why I'm not commenting on Ahsoka, it's mainly two reasons: One, I can't find anywhere to watch the show for free and I'm not giving The Mouse money I can't spare, and two, I didn't like Lars Mikkenson as voice actor for Thrawn, I like him even less as live actor. So I'll pass on paying my hard-earned money to see him butcher the role.
And judging by this quick look at what tumblr has become years later, I'm sparing myself a lot of shite from being here too. Wtf.

„I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic have fallen, with the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place.“
What if Aayla survived and they reunited?

Illustration by Tsuneo Sanda, “The Heroes of Star Wars Comics.” May, 2007.
In May of 2007, Dark Horse Comics published “Star Wars: Panel by Panel” Volume 2, whose title pages included an illustration by Tsuneo Sanda. The impressive artwork, measuring 29” x 20”, depicts 110 characters, animals, and vehicles from Dark Horse’s line of Star Wars comics. The art was also distributed as a poster for Star Wars Celebration IV, and later republished as the cover to a Hyperspace Fan Club exclusive comic in 2008. Mara Jade appears on the right side of the piece, in front of the Acklay.

I know it’s a real shot in the dark that Quinlan will actually make a physical appearance in the Obi-Wan show and his namedrop was most likely just them throwing a bone to us hardcore fans HOWEVER if he does appear I will take back like 90% of the bad things I’ve said about Star Wars in the last year

Even though I published Worth the Price  three years ago, I’m just braced for someone to accuse me of stealing a certain pivotal Jedi-related plot from the Kenobi show. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time.
Maybe fandom has improved in the interim, but color me cynical, I’m not counting on it.

CONTROVERSIAL OPINION #3
Writers may write for themselves because the story idea excites them, but they post because they’re excited to share with you.
If readers don’t reciprocate that excitement after reading, then writers will keep the joy of writing for themselves.
