New Game Plus brings tons of exciting additions to Three Houses. This Fire Emblem Three Houses New Game+ Guide walks you through all the different benefits, new mechanics, and new features should you decide to begin another adventure on New Game+.

New Game+ is a special mode that becomes available after you fully complete Fire Emblem Three Houses. At the end of the story you will be asked to make an end-game save file. It’s advised that you save over a fresh file as it means you cannot play that file again but can use it to start a New Game+ mode.

There are many different benefits of playing New Game+. Below is a break down of the benefits as listed at the end of the story.

Your Renown is carried over to your new game

Hired Battalions remain in your possession

All of the merchants you unlocked in the previous game, remain unlocked in the new game

Your Saint Statue levels remain intact

You can spend Renown to purchase Professor Levels, Support Levels, Skill Levels, Combat Arts and abilities gained from Mastering Class skills

You can change your units appearance to various outfits used during the game

New Crest system unlocked

Not to mention, you can choose a different house for an entirely different story, work with different characters, there’s plenty of reasons to dive into a second play through of Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Where To Find Mythril, Steel & Agarthium In Fire Emblem Three Houses

Wondering where to find rare metals such as Agarthium and Umbral Steel? This guide will tell you Where To Find Mythril, Steel & Agarthium In Fire Emblem Three Houses as there are many different types of rare materials and metals that are required to make awesome weapons.

As you progress through Three Houses, you’ll require many different metals and resources. Some of these resources are required to complete side quests, others can be used to repair weapons and some can even be used to craft some of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Where To Find Mithril, Steel & Agarthium In Fire Emblem Three Houses

Unfortunately, there’s no set method of obtaining any of these materials quickly or reliably as it all depends on quests and battle rewards. The following is a list of the rare and valuable metals in the game and how you can obtain them for yourself. Note: A lot of battles reward “Ore” as a victory reward. Make sure to focus on those if you want an early supply of the rarer materials.

Smithing Stone – Purchased from the vendor once unlocked. Mostly used for repairs and basic upgrades

Black-Sand Steel – Purchased from the vendor once unlocked

Wootz Steel – Potential reward for killing Monsters & destroying armor

Arcane Crystal – Purchased from the Dark Vendor (unlocked towards the end of the game, available in new game plus)

Mythril – Potential reward for killing Monsters & destroying armor

Umbral Steel – Potential reward for killing Monsters & destroying armor

Agarthium – Also found via Monster drops but only very late game

As you can see, most of the rare and valuable metals are from Monster drops. Monsters are a unique type of enemy in Three Houses. They take up 4 spaces and have an armor slot for each space, marked by a yellow square when highlighting the creature. The best way to get the rare metals is to first destroy a creatures armor, then the creature. There are many Battalions that do area of effect attacks, making armor destruction much easier.

Pay close attention to the battles on offer. Whenever you have a rest day, always check the battle screen. Sometimes there’s a Rare Monster Sighting, these are great for rare materials. However, Monsters can also appear normally. When on the battle screen, check the text for each battle. Some will tell you a group of bandits need wiping out, other times it will mention Monsters. If you need the rare materials, Monsters are the way to go.

There are many powerful weapons in Three Houses, some of which require special crests to activate latent abilities. However, there are equally powerful weapons that are far more accessible to all classes and characters. Rusted Weapons are a drop found during story battles, missions, paralogues, wherever there’s a fight, there’s a decent chance you may find a Rusted Weapon is a drop – especially in the latter stages of the game.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Rusted Weapons Guide

Most of these Rusted Weapons are simple. They are used to Forge weapons in to the Silver variety of that weapon type. Silver is the best stuff you can hope to find commonly, making it a solid base of equipment for your characters.

When you find a Rusted Weapon, don’t simply discard it or sell it. Use the X button to highlight the item for additional information. Some of the Rusted Weapons can be crafted into incredibly powerful weapons. As you can see above, I have two Rusted Bow items. Both look identical but, if you look a little closer at the description, this particular Rusted Bow can be crafted into Parthia.

These weapons usually require maximum professor level (A+) and rare materials and metals, but it’s well worth the investment.

There are two different ways of selling items in Fire Emblem Three Houses. Firstly, the traditional method. This one is basic and near impossible to miss. You go to the Marketplace, either in person or via the menu, and you select sell. This allows you to sell many different items such as equipment and loot drops, but not all items.

How To Sell Items In Fire Emblem Three Houses

To sell some of your more valuable items, such as rare and valuable fish, you need to do it slightly differently. You can do this either from the activity menu, before you decide what to do with a free day, or from the menu when exploring.

Simply navigate to your Storehouse. This is where all of your gifts, lost items, bait and food stuffs is found. From this menu simply navigate to the item you wish to sell and select the sell option. This is how you sell your fish and other rare items you can catch or grow.
