Lore notes as usual, there’s only two this time (no TWs either):

- Sans does work as a Judge for Asgore, but he isn't the only one. There’s a few, and they kind of act like advisors and there’s usually one per region in the Underground to make sure everything is going as it should and there’s no anarchy. They also deal with criminals, and since coming to the Surface they handle crimes from monsters and crimes against monsters. The latter means Sans + his coworkers are busy guys.

- Alastor the Blaster is based off of Alastor from Hazbin Hotel cause I think the silly guy is neat and I like his design. I’m not super into the show myself, but I know people who are, and I like him.

Do You Love Me or LoVe Me? - Frisk goes where they shouldn’t, the little family has a bad time

I’m putting the lore notes here again cause I like it so: TWs for self harm, child abuse, and child endangerment! (Promised I’d be back in an hour…ish. I got one more finished fic that might be out tomorrow dunno though.)

- Sans is NOT thinking clearly, let me start with that. He doesn’t recognize it as Frisk, all he knows is that there is a person where he is hiding and he is VERY scared. LV makes it hard to feel comfortable, and as a result he is a very anxious little guy even without his magic basically trying to smother him.

- He does get sick after this all happens. So the lie that is told to Undyne isn’t entirely wrong. Sans’ soul is very delicate and he’s gonna be feeling this for a while (there is an explanation for this but…not yet).

- Papyrus and Undyne are NOT ROMANTICALLY TOGETHER. I DO NOT SHIP THEM. What is going on is a best friend comforting her slightly younger, extremely distressed best friend. If they are in any sort of relationship, it would be queer platonic.

- Frisk gets incredibly skittish after this. They don’t sleep in Sans’ room for a few weeks, choosing to nest in the living room. They do have new scars on their chest and arms, but they’re not as horrible as some of the others as Sans barely brings down their HP.

- Dadby is a champ and so is Auntdyne.

- Undyne is unaware of the brother’s murder and blames it on Sans’ fragility, especially since she’s noticed both brothers have been having…odd mood swings lately…

- Skeletons with young are fiercely protective of their babies. It’s one of a few reasons why Sans becomes so distressed when Papyrus comes in and rescues Frisk. He doesn’t see it fully as his brother helping his nibling, he sees it as someone stealing his baby because he messed up and is pleading that he’ll do better

- Frisk is a good kid with good intentions and should have all the lil head kisses

- Sans’ skull does eventually recover, thankfully he didn’t hurt himself hard enough to leave major scarring and Papyrus is very diligent in making sure he’s healing properly

- Frisk refuses to use either Dad or Baba for Sans and uses both like a little shit juST PICK ONE

Since the lore notes that usually go at the end are almost four hundred words long, they’re going here instead! TWs for mentioned child abuse and murder (they’re beneath the cut =p)

NOTES:

- These two guys that are removedeth from this mortal coil are the bros’ birth parents. They are *HORRIBLE* people. There will eventually be something on them (probably).

- Reason Grillby knows it’s LV gains? They’re covered in dust and freaking out. Not a hard assumption to make.

- This takes place a little bit before Undertale, but the boys are still suffering from the LV gains during Undertale.

- Grillby is best dad who is trying his best.

- Both brothers are flight/fight, but Sans is flight leaning and Papyrus is fight leaning. Especially if Sans is in danger. He’s very protective of Sans due to their past.

- LV makes it harder to feel comfortable. Yeah, makes it easier to kill, but the boys are both very anxious and think that they’re going to be harmed or their family is going to be harmed. Papyrus gets very antsy about people being in the house without his knowledge and Sans gets anxious whenever he travels outside of Snowdin. AKA their dad’s domain.

- How are they not found out? Skeletons are rather solitary critters for one and the brothers are not exactly normal because they live in a town. Undyne won’t believe they’re done anything wrong, much less Asgore who sees good in people, without hard evidence. I don’t see monsters as a group that does birth certificates or official paperwork, they might have a census to get a rough count of how many people there are but there’s no widespread form of identification.

- Why did they kill?

Simply put, they, especially Papyrus, were raised to be aggressive. Papyrus has had time to realize ‘hey this isn’t normal, and I don’t enjoy killing or fighting but I will if needed’. He holds grudges, especially against their birth parents. He doesn’t remember much of the abuse while it was happening, but he remembers the aftermath and he has the scars to prove it. In this case, his need for revenge overpowered his pacifism and Sans is a pretty go with the flow guy.

- The rope w/ the ring was used as punishment for Sans. Think a leash and collar for a dog.

- Bleach was used as a punishment for Papyrus, and as a result he has a lot of tender discolored splotches on his bones.

Haven’t been posting much since school picked back up! But! I am working on two more installments to BPMK and Bill’s Story (Co-Starring Frisk the Human)! One of the BPMK pieces should be out in a day or two, and I’m about to have the Bill’s Story piece beta’d.

So have a sketch of TiWaFI, it’s not a scene from the fic and this is actually infant sans not ‘grumpy child’ sans, but it’s close enough!

I can write everywhere but I can’t draw everywhere so we do our best.

The Skelebros + Frisk! 🧡💙❤️

Their heights aren’t accurate in terms of scale (probably) but they are accurate in terms of ‘hey if theyre real people this is how tall they’d be’.

Papyrus ‘Kitty’ does have his Battle Body as this takes place during Undertale but anytime I draw him in it he simply looks like a marshmallow. All three of them have lockets, but Paps’ is in his pocket (you can kinda see it danglin in his shorts pocket). He’s a pain to draw with his lil discoloration patches.

As always skeleton anatomy is bullshit.
