David Tennant doesn't know how to half-ass a kiss. If/when we finally get a good kiss between Crowley and Aziraphale, I suspect I will be passing away from the passion of it. He just puts his whole David Tennussy into every kiss.
We need to save OFMD because no other show has managed to embody my very specific queer aesthetic, which is 'ardently declaring my undying gay love with a kiss whilst splattered in the blood of the english soldiers I just cut down with a sword'.
I just want us to remember for a second that Rhys actually did this FOR REAL -
no CGI, he actually put on a huge silicone mermaid tail made with 5kgs of glitter and 3000 scales and swam in it, with no prior training because he somehow ALREADY KNEW how to swim like a merperson?? Like he’d been practising his whole life?? And then he managed to give the most loving, perfect look right on cue:
Taika is amazing in this scene as well obviously, but I think about Rhys in that tail all the time, being dumped into the water tank from a wheelchair because that was the only way to get him in. I love it.
The classic pan up starting with Ed's open legs, one hand resting on a strategically placed gun, and the other caressing its way down his torso. Standing out from the fire in the golden light that comes to reflect hope and love throughout the show. This is not only brilliant filmmaking but is hot as sin and a crazy way to introduce a full shot of Blackbeard. He's seducing everyone.
thinking about bilbo and thorin after thorin wakes up from his wounds post-botfa. thinking about bilbo not knowing if he's wanted. thinking about thorin demanding to see billbo as soon as he wakes up and bilbo thinking he's mad just to have thorin gently take his hand and quickly look him over to see if hes hurt. thinking about bilbo breaking down crying because thorins OKAY. hes ALIVE. thinking about thorin gently bringing their foreheads together.
Look I just need to talk about how brave Aziraphale is in A Companion to Owls.
He chooses to Fall to save three human children. He believes with his whole angel heart he will be condemned to Hell for all eternity to save those kids. (That this doesn’t happen, that Crowley offers kindness instead, is irrelevant to his original choice.) He is ready to go - willingly, knowingly. And Crowley is not yet a comfort to him, not really friends yet, nothing to ease his burden. And he still chooses what is right.
Never forget Aziraphale's reaction when he finally understood how dangerous the evidence Furfur had was and that they were going to take Crowley away from him forever
When I say “free water, free food, free shelter, free healthcare, free education for everyone” in that “everyone” I even include the people I hate. Too many people get surprised at the idea that I do wish for the people I hate to have better lives.
