just thought of buck and tommy moving in together and slow dancing in between packed boxes in bucks kitchen for one last time and it being bitter sweet because even tho they’re starting this new chapter together this is still where their story began and buck finally felt like his life made sense and leaving always hurts a little no matter how exciting what follows is but it’s alright because home is wherever they are

So in one of Lou’s most recent cameos, someone asked him why Tommy only calls Buck “Evan” and not “Buck” and he said that it is strategic and that it is specified in scripts and stuff that he should never call Buck “Buck”. Then he said something about “if you wanna get real with someone based on the circumstance that Buck reached out to Tommy” then he goes on to say that Tommy was introduced to Buck as Evan Buckley. So clearly the writers are showing a difference in Tommy vs Bucks previous gfs. Based on what Lou said about “getting real with someone” Buck doesn’t want to hide behind his nickname anymore he wants to be “Evan” to someone. The writers making this specific choice for Tommy is super interesting and it’s making me think that he could really stick around. They are showing that there’s something different about this relationship aside from the fact that Tommy is a man. Buck feels differently about Tommy and they’re showing that by Buck letting Tommy call him Evan. I’m super excited to see where this goes, because watching Lou’s cameos just shows how excited he is about it and how many small things he’s inputting into Tommy and the bucktommy scenes.

I want them holding hands and being casually affectionate. I want them waking up in the morning together and eating breakfast as a family and taking Christopher to school together. I want pet names and prolonged eye contact and gentle smiles. I want them having tough conversations and disagreeing but still coming to a compromise because they love each other and value what they have together. I want Christopher calling buck dad and for them to have little inside jokes and have him bragging to his friends about having not one, but TWO firefighter dads. I want them defending one another against their parents and their massive expectations and their unwillingness to change even in the face of the long lasting pain they’ve inflicted on their children. I want them sharing their trauma and helping with pt exercises and talking about chronic pain. I want a wedding and more kids and a long lasting relationship that’s built on mutual respect and friendship and understanding.

I don’t just want sex or make out scenes.

I want romance. I want love.

one of the nurses watched the whole exchange and next time the 118 drops off a victim she turns to Buck and asks really loudly “by the way, how’s your boyfriend, the beast?” and Buck has to explain the whole thing and the 118 starts to refer to Tommy as The Beast™ because it makes Buck cringe every time. “Is The Beast coming to Sunday barbecue?” “Can you stay with Chris, The Beast and I have a basketball game” “are you free tonight or do you have a date with The Beast?”

At this point, people are just lying to themselves (to feel better about their ship) if they actually believe that Tommy and Buck only have sexual chemistry but not a romantic one.

This man showed up. Covered in soot and ash. He fucking showed after fighting through a beast of a fire for God knows how many hours, didn’t change or shower. All because Buck wanted him there, because he understood how important it was, because to Tommy, Evan is a priority.

He tried his damnest to get there, and he did.

If that isn’t peak romance, idk what is.

i think. the eddie and tommy friendship shouldn't be a background thing actually. like we shouldn't forget that this all started with eddie and tommy having a connection. and i honestly believe that we should see more of that friendship not even for the sake of the whole buddietommy triangle or any of that but just because. eddie seemed really happy to make a new friend and tommy already talked about wanting to belong and to find bonds like the ones in the 118 and i just think they're both so good for each other's lives

That’s why you constantly harass the cast, crew, and writers when they don’t feed into your constant ramblings and delusions. “It’s not all Buddie shippers” but it’s always only Buddie shippers. Shipping characters is normal, but when you harass, gaslight, bully, and overlook the already present queer representation in the show over a non canon ship, it gets annoying.

FACT! Buck now identifies as bisexual and is in a relationship with Tommy that’s being described as a love story by the actors. Michael and Josh are openly gay. Hen and Karen are married lesbians. There is no queer bait. The representation is there. Not everyone has to ship Buddie. Especially not now. Leave Tim alone. Leave Lou alone. Be normal
