"I've never really thought about that." Joy had been in relationships where they had celebrated Valentine's, but that had been high school relationships where the stakes were different. When she'd been in Barcelona for those years, she had been all about the things and less about the serious relationships.

"Okay." Joy still would have liked more information, but this woman was being tight-lipped about what it was for so Joy would have to deal with that. Or would she? Maybe not if she could work this into her favour.

"I think chocolate is definitely a must-have because then that will go with any other flavours that other people might suggest. Another flavour I think would work is definitely citrus fruits because they'll give the chocolate that added zest."

Joy didn't even know what that last part meant, all she knew was she'd heard her mum and uncle arguing about something and one of them that said something along the lines of... added zest.

"Hi!" Joy took a quick look around the shop. It had such a quaint look about it and it seemed much bigger than it looked. Something she couldn't wait to see for herself while she took a look around.

"Thank you! Your shop looks lovely and I love your outfit." Even if it wasn't something that Joy would wear herself, it suited this woman very well and Joy meant that in the nicest possible way.

Joy was looking forward to classes starting back up but right now she wasn't even thinking about that. No, she was busy moving to the loud, club music at Pixie's and seeing who she could get to dance with or buy her a drink.

So far nothing, but the night was still young and she had found a target in a very good looking stranger. She walked right up to them, "See anything you like?"

Joy took the flyer from Eilonwy, "Nice to meet you too! I'm Joy." She was sure she'd seen Eilonwy somewhere else as well, probably just around the uni or maybe town events. Swynlake sure did love an event, not that Joy was complaining.

"Thanks for the information! I think I'll definitely come to the meetings. I'm looking to meet new people as I'll be here for the next two years."

Joy nodded. It seemed like this movie club would actually be okay and she could suggest her own movies which was a big bonus in her eyes.

"It sounds pretty good." Joy smiled at the blonde before asking, "What days do you meet?"

It was better to ask, but it seemed pretty casual, so it wouldn't matter either way.

Tuesday, November 7 – Community Togetherness Thread

Joy was feeling bored which was dangerous for her because she'd end up finding just about anything to do and she didn't want that. She'd finished most of her essays for her classes, she had a couple left to do but she'd get them done in the next week.

Joy was heading into the lounge so she could see who was there and maybe persuade someone to go get coffee or do something with her. She hadn't expected to see a blonde girl putting up flyers for the film club.

"Hey! I haven't actually." Now, Joy was a little intrigued to what she meant by film club because it could mean many different things. "What kind of film club?"
