Amazon’s Alexa Dishes Out Health Advice
Boston Children’s Hospital released a new “skill” for Amazon’s Alexa called KidsMD which gives the voice-powered assistant the knowledge to offer simple medical advice to parents about symptoms and medications. Any Alexa-enabled device such as Amazon Echo, Echo Dot (the one I am a proud owner of), Amazon Tap, and Amazon Fire TV can download the app. Once enabled, parents can ask Alexa questions that will give them a better sense of when they should call a doctor or not.
