Lee Kryszewski, a former Navy veteran, has been serving the homeless community for nearly a year by taking a four-mile walk from his home to CSX and back. He pulls a small green wagon full of snacks, fruit, and coffee pump pots, which he uses to keep his heart healthy. Kryszewski and his wife moved to Jacksonville to be closer to the Mayo Clinic, but he noticed other souls in need during his morning routine. During his walk, he saw many people without a home and offered coffee and tea with snacks when the weather improved. Kryszewski has been serving the unhoused for nine months and believes that coffee and snacks are appreciated.
