ok i stand by video star foreverandever (it’s ios only so if you have an android i’m saur sorry and i have heard capcut is good but i haven’t used it) some stuff is paid and i know a lot people use the pro subscription service but i think long term best value for money is just buying the packs you need

^ these are my packs (i think multilayer is free now?) but for the type of edits i’ve posted here you only really need custom colouring and maybe velocity (if you’re slowing down clips) (+multilayer if it isn’t free xd and i was lied to)

(btw never buy photo essentials for making edits that’s a leftover purchase from my old lps music videos loll)

i learned to use video star through many many many youtube tutorials and tbh sometimes i’ve found some decent tutorials on tiktok, i think when you get used to the layout and everything it’s super easy! the type of really simple edits i’ve posted here are super easy imo but i will say adding any sort of text to your edits is HELL i hate adding text soooo much but yayyy i hope this helped <3 im very passionate about editing i hope you become an editor it’s one of my favourite things on earth:3 you’re already halfway there by listening to songs and Feeling things

my favourite jarcast of maybe all time is the snugglebrothers cast they did recently… like wow.. if there was no james upskirt censor it would be the most Perfect video of all time Let me see up there. i loooooveee when the boys are all comfy and cosy looking it’s so heartwarming and cute Plus this moment was so cute

i think my favourite stand alone alex video is trying to watch star wars christmas special idk why but when alex sings porn helmet wookie time it changed something in my little 14 year old brain and at 21 years old i still sing that to myself skjdowjdi

i want jartists to draw the boys in Cute pyjamas and i think they should have a Pyjama cast where they’re all in cute matching pyjamas and it’s dark outside and they have candles going…… WAIT I JUST REMEMEBRWD SOMETHNG There was a james blab on the og jar channel called is james racist - james blab and in 2022 i was GOING THRU IT emotionally like crying all the time and that video was genuinely the only thing that would cheer me up but it’s deleted or got taken down idk it’s not up anymore and i’m so sad about it because it was so funny… alex’s editing on that was Cwazy in another life he would be making ytp.. all old jar is so nostalgic and especially like old fan videos… ;-; i love jar so much they’ve changed my vocabulary permanently. i also really enjoy “the WORST video on youtube” idk what it is about that specific video but it just Gets me

i don’t really have any hot takes i don’t think i guess i think james is Really Awesome and cool for his opinions on pornography and i admire him a lot for that especially when all the comments were kind of disagreeing with him but i thought it was Epic And Cool especially coming from three different men :p i disagree with his opinion on the film cars tho, that is one of my favourite movies and i had a (serious) cars fan blog on here at one point.

i want more stand alone videos about Vidya game because even if i haven’t played/don’t have a desire to play any of these games i loveeee to hear their opinions on them like yayyyy ❤️ i think i just love to hear their opinions on anything because it’s like a Trip into their brains and i enjoy that :3

Misc. Jalex thoughts (mostly old jar related):

Again I just think it’s so 🤨🤨🤔 how James was so often the star of Alex’s videos or at least played some role in them even though he complained about them so much. Like… moon man lives in a bin, the Minecraft machinima (i think even jamie refused to do this vid), dubstep parkour, what normal people think of tomska, James’ cameos and constant comments on ihe vids… i feel like aside from jamie James is most often in Alex’s videos/somehow interacting w them

alex used to pay quite a bit of attention to James. Having James in a bunch of videos (both on the group channels and on ihe w James having a cameo in one and having his comments in some comment comebacks), asking James to do roleplays and often having him in some sort of romantic role, talking about James and doing impressions of him, constantly trying to get a reaction from him (“i know a meme is good when James hates it” or wtvr he said)… schoolboy behavior

i faintly remember a fan asking if James was Alex’s bf and Alex laughing and James immediately getting offended by alex laughing at the idea of them being together

what revived my interest in Jalex in the past year or so was James saying that he loves asmr and always listens to it to fall asleep and then saying in another ep that he loves Alex’s voice and that his voice is like asmr to him. And also James being so insistent that Alex gives the best hugs out of all of them (and how do you know that so confidently, hm? 🤨🏳️‍🌈?)
