um. I went into a rabbit hole about dinosaurs and shit, which delved further into cladograms and stuff. I started trying to figure out what this skull at the natural history and science Meuseum was from. It was unlabeled, I checked. It roughly looks like a Marshosaurus skull but the inferior temporal fenestra seems to be the wrong shape, and the Lacrimal is longer and more crest-like. But the premaxilla, maxilla and nasal aren't the usual rounded shape that other Allosauridea have. So I was like, maybe its apart of Megalosauridae but the premaxilla is like still way too round. So I hopped on over to take a look at Megataptor skulls and thats shut down, as those are too long this time, but what do I know, really.

But also Megataptors are really cool, I love the Maip specifically. I hope we find more of them.

Oh also, I finally read thst paper on the new spinosaurus tail, it was pretty cool, but people are suspect on if the um.. hind part of the specimen is the same as the front part so thats causing a good few debates. Its cool. Interesting.

it's this time of the evening that i come with too many ideas per second, so i just thougt about making a tag game of the coolest/weirdest in the good way, thing that you've come across this week (or just in the past days)

I ended up drawing Maine, at the end of the day, i've been wanting to do something with them for a bit and thought this was the best time to do so. There was a lot of random brain thoughts that went into this, but I didnt really like how it turned out, therefore I'm probably going to do another rendition of my OG idea with biblically accurate horror Maine sometime later this year. (So I hope you dont mind another delayed gift ;D)

This was supposed to be some silly space god AU that devolved with the more thought I put into it, whoops 😅

In the end this was a blast to make, and was my first attempt at doing some traditional art that wasn't just graphite! What a great test of my abilities this peice was!
