"fuck around and find out" implies that jaehaerys did something & now has to suffer the consequences (like luke, but i digress)
[daemon also threw a party when his nephew & sister in law died tragically, but again, i digress ]. you're talking about aegon and aemond's crimes. the actual victims of b&c - helaena, jaehaerys, jaehaera and maelor are innocents and should not be punished for the crimes of their relatives. again, this is not a "fuck around find out" situation, nor is this about targeting the murderer of luke, it's about hurting an innocent woman and her children to prove a point.
i mean, i don't understand how watching a 6yo kid being murdered & another 6yo girl being threatened with rape & a woman (guilty or innocent) being tortured is something you're looking forward to watching, but .. um... yeah sure good for you. (i know i def will not be cheering when rhaenyra & her children die)
rhaenyra lost her baby daughter, father, son, and her throne got stolen from her all at the same time so idc how cruel she becomes because she has all the right to be. idc if u think blood and cheese was way too much, they never should have usurped and killed her son in the first place. fuck around and find out

Aemond: I found a nursing home off the coast of Maine run by the same French company that oversaw Napoleon’s exile. Father will be treated humanely, but there will be no escape.

Regarding jaeheras death i really hope they change it on the show but at the same time im not sure if theyd even go so far in the Timeline where her death occurs. To me there are several points where they can choose to end the story but I dont know wich they will go for. My pipe dream is that theyl so viserys return but I really dont think that will happen.
they'll have to cover the beginning of aegon iii reign if they want to include viserys ii returning. idk i just really don't want to see little jaehaera dying ... my guess is that the show will end with jaehaera and aegon's marriage? maybe hinting at plans to get rid of her and replace her with another queen & a little daenaera scene? maybe we'll get a scene of viserys to show us that he's alive and planning to return home to his brother?
yeah i'm really hoping they'll give jaehaera a different ending, or at least that her death will be off-screen.

Laena's death was the only change I liked form the book, and I do not see it a way to "improve" rhaenyra's death. She had one last wish and she successfully achieved it, and I will always prefer this compared to her death in the book where she wanted to ride a last time but died in the stairs and later daemon carrying his dead body. That's the only good change for her if you think that the producer added a lot of unnecessary scene of violence /abuse regarding her that are not canon for not reason at all
ummm i'm sorry, what exactly was that "last wish"? burning herself to death? i mean you're def entitled to your opinion, but how is laena wanting to do the thing she loved the most before she died - riding her dragon and dying in the arms of the man she loved is worse then her burning herself to death out of desperation?

I detest Laena Death's portrayal in the show and the way the writers hinted that Rhaeyna would meet an honorable end.
the fact that even laena's death was about rhaenyra is truly disgusting. not to mention that the show really tried to frame a woman burning herself as gwurlboss moment.

i'm sure the parallels between rhaenyra crying as she's begging her dying father to save her and her children to aegon crying as he walks to his coronation were completely unintentional but are so important to me. they know they're doomed.

They give me tenderness. HBO says '' Get ready to find out who they are''' as if we ewan wives and tgc wives haven't memorized those two pictures of Aemond and Aegon😂😂

please, someone give me a reason why i should like rhaenyra other then "she's the rightful heir"
i don't hate her at all, she's just a super boring character that the show tells you you're supposed to root for because "rightful heir" but never bothers to explore her character beyond that.
Rhaenyra’s genuinely an unlikable character when you really get to the root of it. Not because she’s coddled, arrogant and entitled, but because aside from that she’s so…boring. She has no unique traits or qualities that make her really stand out, we don’t really know her true motives or intentions behind anything outside of just being short sited and mistakenly believing her position as heir will be enough to shield her from consequences and her complacency fueled by arrogance.
Plus we don’t really know the reasons behind wanting to rule outside of “i will be queen because daddy says so”. Why does she want to be queen? What kind of ruler does she intend to be? What legacy did she wish to leave behind? Entitlement aside, without these things being made clear, it’s impossible to really root for her when you don’t know what they intend to do or stand for as a ruler.
Part of the problem is that we’re often told that she would complain about her duties but we are never shown her actually doing so or told why she does it either, which is a major issue with hotd as a whole. Too much telling but not enough showing to add context to situations, especially when the context was present in the source material.
In comparison, we are shown glimpses of what lead to alicent being how she was in later years which made me gravitate to her more though i have some grievances with her character, i don’t find her boring because we at least have some understanding of her character. Meanwhile rhaenyra just gives the impression of “I’m technically the protagonist so you’re supposed to like me” which…is honestly not something i can blame on her as a character entirely but on bad writing.

Genuinely insane to me that there are Targ stans claiming that the Targs, an incestuous family of former slaveowners of a colonial empire, came to Westeros and were corrupted by the evil eViL Andal culture and religion.
Like what??? The Andals and the faith of the seven are absolutely not without their own systemic issues (nor are the first men) BUT to argue that the rulers have been corrupted by the people they conquered is INSANE.
