Muslim women fought on the front lines. Like Nusayba who fought fiercely in the battle of Uhud, alongside the Prophet. The first martyr of Islam was also a woman. When the Prophet Muhammad first began to preach publicly, there was quickly an active persecution of the small Muslim community. Summayah and her family were targeted. She was tied up, beaten and stabbed to death when she refused to recant her faith. Women took leading roles in standing up against tyranny – even when the other side were Muslims themselves. Just five decades after the Prophet’s death and Muslim leadership had fallen in to corrupt hands. The barbaric and tyrannical ruler of the time, Yazid, surrounded and slaughtered the men and boys of the Prophet’s family. He stripped the women of their veils and paraded them in his court. Including the granddaughter of the Prophet, Zainab, who stood up against him and started recounting what had happened to the masses, turning them against him. This is womanhood in Islam. This is what Islam teaches us as women. Work. Be successful. Be bosses. Don’t wait around for marriage and a man to provide for you. You can take the lead (or make the first move!) and don’t need to conform to societies restrictions on age, social status or gender roles. Fight. Be political. Stand up. Hadith 1:- Hazrat Anas (R.A) used to say that the Holy Prophet (SAWW) was neither very tall nor very short ( and his complexion was neither absolutely white like lime nor sallow) The Holy Prophet's (SAWW) auspicious hair were neither absolutely straight nor absolutely curly. Hadith2:- Hazrat Ali (RA) says that the Holy Prophet (SAWW) was neither tall nor short. His auspicious palms and both the feet were fleshy. The auspicious head was large; the joint bones were also large. From the chest to the navel there was a thin line of hair. When He walked, it appeared as if he was descending from a higher place. Hadith3:- Hazrat Abd Allah ibn Abbas (RA) states that the Holy Prophet (SAWW) frontal teeth were a little distant from each other; they were not very close. *بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم* *الإمام ابن كثير ‎ - قصص الأنبياء* *PROPHET: ABRAHAM - IBRAHIM (عليه السلام)* *PART: 15 (Chapter – 6)* *ABRAHAM AND THREE LIES -2* It is also reported by Imam Ahmad, who narrated it from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Abraham never lied but three lies: one when he was asked to attend the gods of his people and he said: ‘I am sick’ and when he said: ‘It is the biggest of them who did it’, and when he said about Sarah: ‘She is my sister’. He said: Abraham entered into a town where there was a tyrant king. The ruler was told: ‘Abraham has come with a most beautiful woman tonight. ‘That tyrant king sent for him and asked: ‘Who is this with you?’ Abraham said: ‘She is my sister.’ He asked Abraham to bring her. So he went to bring her, and said to her: ‘Do not belie me, because I have told him that you are my sister. There are no believers on this earth apart from you and me.’ When she entered upon him, he came forward to hold her. She stood up to make ablution and then prayed to Allah: ‘O Allah! If you know that I believed in You and Your Messenger, and I kept myself chaste except for my husband, so do not let this disbeliever overpower me.’ He then plunged into water and started striking his legs.” Abu Hurairah said: Sarah then said: ‘O Allah! If he died, people would say: she has killed him.’ Then Allah released him. He then again came forward to hold her. She stood up to make ablution and then prayed to Allah: ‘O Allah! If you know that I believed in You and in Your Messenger and I kept myself chaste except for my husband, then do not let this disbeliever overpower me.’ He then plunged into water and started striking with his legs. Abu Hurairah said: Sarah then said: ‘O Allah! If he died, people would say: she has killed him.’ Then Allah released him. He said at the third or fourth time: ‘You did not bring me but a Satan. Take her back to Abraham and give her Hagar.’ She returned and said to Abraham: ‘Did you know that Allah has failed the plot of the disbeliever and gave us a girl to serve us’”.
