Seed of Ruin

Wondrous Item, very rare

“A seed roughly the size of a person's fist. The outer shell looks like charcoal dusted with ash. It has a few large cracks that run across it and inside is a glowing, red hot core. The seed seeps out a sickly, orange miasma.”

This magic seed takes 10 minutes to plant firmly in the ground. Once planted it will start to take root and spread its influence to the surrounding areas. After the first 24 hours the seeds' corruption will begin to spread exponentially covering a 10 mile radius within 30 days. The corruption of the seed cannot reach further than 10 miles.

Land corrupted by this seed cannot support life, and so all plants will begin to wilt and die. Similarly, fauna will begin to migrate away from the land, or slowly starve should they remain. The corruption of the seed attracts all kinds of aberrations and monstrosities. If the seed is removed and the area it was buried in cleansed through the use of a hallow spell or similar magic then the corruption of the area will fade within the next 24 hours, allowing life to return.

💎 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Hobbysteed
Wondrous item, uncommon or rare ___

While holding this stuffed hobby horse, which weighs 2 pounds, you can mount or dismount it as if it were a normal steed. While mounted, you can use an action to speak its command word: a ghostly steed then appears beneath you, which is translucent and obviously magical. The steed uses the statistics for a riding horse, although its weight is always 2 pounds. You can ride it for up to 1 hour, all at once or in several shorter intervals, each one using a minimum of 1 minute from the duration. The “hobbysteed” regains 30 minutes of riding capability for every 4 hours it isn’t in use. The effect ends early if you or the steed take any damage or if you’re no longer holding or riding the hobby horse.

The toy horse head of every “hobbysteed” is unique in its appearance, and typically creates a horse that resembles it. A rare “hobbysteed” creates a pegasus and uses its statistics, instead of a riding horse, when you speak its command word. ___

Wondrous Item, rare

“This flower shaped necklace produces a rare, magical dust that can be used to calm the strongest and most intense urges of violence and bloodlust.”

This magic necklace can hold up to 5 uses of its magical dust, it produces one use every day at dawn.

Using an action you can blow this dust into the eyes of one creature adjacent to you forcing them to make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save they become pacified and can do no harm to another creature unless that creature first harms them. The creature is not charmed and still recognizes friend from foe. The effects of this dust last for 10 minutes. When the effects of the dust wear off the creature reverts to their previous state of mind. On a successful save a creature is immune to the effects of the dust for the next 24 hours.

Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a bard)

“This instrument is made from the black bark and branches of a cursed feywild tree. Despite having been harvested and crafted into an instrument, small twigs and leaves of fire and flame will occasionally sprout from it before crumbling away into dust and ash.”

While holding this instrument, you gain a +3 bonus to spell attack rolls and your spell save DC.

When you use your Bardic Inspiration to inspire allies you can choose to empower it with chaos. When you do this, you do not expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration, but when the die is rolled you must roll on the wild magic surge table a number of times equal to the result. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses after a long rest.

Void Thrall – Medium elemental, any chaotic alignment

Some say that the void thrall is a harbinger of a great evil – a messenger sent to signify the coming of a creature born from nothingness; an entity so hungry that it devours villages and cities as a whole. Others, however, believe that the thrall is merely a fading echo of said cataclysmic being. Lost and aimless, it wanders the lands as a faint reminder of a tremendous battle fought out decades or even centuries ago. Whatever the truth, the void thrall is a remarkable phenomenon. Where it passes, it leaves its eerie gifts behind. Hidden by time, these little gems bring misfortune to whomever roams close.
