my mate and i went to Target as part of our errands for the day and he ended up getting me a 20 piece container set of Pyrex tupperware (10 dishes and 10 clickable lids!) and i am so beyond ecstatic! i have wanted new leftover storage containers for a bit so this new set was such a lovely surprise today!~

we have been doing a lot of work on the living room area so these containers feel like a reward for handling the upheaval of all i was familiar with the past couple years. but i'm excited about the change!! we've done some deep cleaning of dusty neglected spaces when moving furniture and my mate has painted the first half of the room a fresh clean white (called "Bistro White").

there's so much potential and i am looking forward to truly decorating now that everything is patched up, getting painted and moved around. it feels new but also so much more like home
