Because both my buddy and I would rather look elsewhere, I have been living in Oakland almost all my life, even just a small change in scenery would be nice, still close enough to get to work but a little distance from where I'm currently living would be nice

CA changed renting laws so they can’t charge you three times the month on move in. Deposit can’t be more than rent. So it would be like $3000 down upon signing. If you have good credit which is 700+

Depends the area in San Leandro, the spot we are looking at, which near the San leandro bart is a bit pricier cuz it's 2 bed and 2 bath, 900 something sqr feet, with a bunch of other stuff we wanted, like a balcony cuz we wanna grow some plants and stuff
