The parts of your body that Daryl loves the most are your hips and your neck.

His favorite way to hold you is to come up and slowly slip his hands under your jacket to rest on the curve of your hips, molding perfectly to his palms. It's the easiest way to pull the fullness of your body most closely to his own. Flush together now, the soft skin of your neck invites him to lay down his head, if only for a minute. He obliges, nose coming to settle somewhere beneath your ear where he can hear the beautiful harmony of the thrum of your heartbeat and the satisfied hum that emanates from within.

Your hand gently pets and smooths his hair while the other rubs delicate motions on his back. Tucked into you like a baby bird under a nurturing wing. This is the place where he feels truly safe, and cared for, and oh so loved.

He begins to pull away, not wanting to selfishly keep you, but you stop him.

"Wait - jus' a little while longer..." You plead, leaning into him all the more.

He sinks back into you; the refuge you've become. A great heave of a sigh is released from his lungs, and with it, you begin to hum a familiar song. It's low, and lovely, and unhurried just as is this moment. As are you.

When he was young he had a house that was in no way a home, but now he knows that wherever you are - that will always be home. Simply because of you.

Okay so it's not great but I was messing around with a drawing app while during lunch at work today trying to work out how to use it. No stylus, messy scribble but it kinda looks like Norman. It's going to take a whole lot of practice to get anything good from it i think. I might have to go back to paper and pencil.
