Girls Snow Adventure

There are some girls who are not into compromising standards of the teen experience. Each day, they are totally in their life pursuit to make their living more interesting.

You will not find them blending with the so-called cool girls since being cool for them is usually defined by the different point of view at the present moment.

Some of them surf, snowboard, ski, play Rock & Roll and super concentrate on their self’s expression activity. We at Freedom like to hang with those girls since we can see the future generation become more & more connected to the environment, being outside, creative & self-empowering.

Freedom Girls adventures are programmed & designed to give the girls their own canvas to draw their action future.

With amazing women mentors like Lily Sepe, Kristen Fejtek & Danielle Railly - dreaming together to challenge the girls and fulfill their dreams & self-independence.

Our next adventure is planned toward the mountains.

We already connected with some of the Mountain Ladies who can show the Freedom Girls the way on skiing or snowboarding.

Surfing Girls & California Sunsets

Yes, we have to go to school … Yes, we need to do our homework … but, if nature gives you a gift like the ocean - we are sure to say Yes, we have to experience this gift at least few times a week.

The Freedom After School Programs is all about the ocean year around. When was the last time you saw the sunset while you were wet & salty ? … and after a surf session and on a school night?

We start with a sand run, a half mile paddle-out, surfing, body surfing, swimming & diving under set-waves … Only then … the Sunset looks way more inspiring ha-ha

It’s is the end of October and we are already booked up on our ski & snowboard days for the winter program but, the water is still warm, the girls are super stoked and the parents are committed to seeing their girls make it happen on our Thursday afternoon Ocean Conditioning and of course our weekends are totally focusing on Surfing at best conditions LA county can offer.

Kick Off •••Winter 2019 •••

It’s Happening!!! We are super stoked for this winter. After a great fall season of surf - we are so hungry to ‘surf’ the mountain. Some happy Californian kids are going to shred Bear Mountain again — or for the first time — with the Freedom Snow Riders AKA FSR.

Our Flagship program includes 5 full days at Bear Mountain Snow resort. If this is your kid first day on the snow or he/she planning to shred ... All of the kids will have the opportunity to get better at their skiing or snowboarding and learn the fundamentals if this is there first time. The program is instructed by the Bear Mountain ski & snowboarding school but it is a closed program. Our instructors are hand picked by our Freedom director Gilad Lewandovski who is a certified level three snowboard instructor and has been taking groups to the mountain since 2005.

Pickup:

San Fernando Valley — 6:00AM in Woodland Hills

West LA 6:30AM — at Olympic Blvd. / Sepulveda Blvd.

Our fun program includes all-inclusive 5 Sundays:

1. Round trip transportation on a luxury bus

2. Movies will be played along the way

3. Full day instruction by certified ski/snowboard instructors

4. Full mountain lift pass for Big Bear / Snow Summit

5. Helmet (only for full program registration / 5 sessions)

6. Adult supervision.

7. Pizza & drinks on the way back from the mountain.

Bus #1 ages : 4 – 6 years old (only with a parent) and 7 – 11.

Bus #2 ages : 12-17 years old.

Price – $950 for 5 day trips.

Single snow trip – $225

2019 Dates :

1st. Snow day trip – 1/6/19

2nd. Snow day trip – 1/13/19

3rd. Snow day trip - 1/27/19

4th. Snow day trip – 2/10/19

5th. Snow day trip – 2/24/19

Our main program is our summer surf camps at Venice / Santa Monica & Manhattan Beach.

We also have woman surfing group in Malibu and kid surfing club that runs year around - surfing the weekends and Spring Breaks.

But, sometimes you recognize a kid that is into the surfing on another level and beside his / her love to the ocean’s environment they are also very competitive and willing to invest their time into the highest level of surfing for their age.

Jake Chandler is one of those kids who came to Freedom by the age of 5 and grew up (today 11) to a top seed surfer on a national level.

Jake started as a regular kid who wants to surf with Freedom.

When Gilad and the Freedom crew saw the potential, Gilad signed Jake to compete at WSA Micro Groms and developed a year around after school program for the little Grom.

Gilad walked the first year path of pushing Jake into the waves at competitions and with his parents outlined the surfing quest to be a national level surfer.

We are challenging the kids on their level and enthusiasm to the ocean. No matter what level … we believe that if the gaining trust with your instructors is the main issue to gain.

Ones trust is established – any education with flow and inspired both rider & teacher.

This is why there is no pressure at Freedom Surf camp and the goal is to find the fun concept and grow the Aloha spirit from grass roots by trust.

When people ask us why Freedom Surf Camps are different ? we usually say that Freedom is not just a surf camp or surf classes on the beach … we are a year around experience at any level to any kid who would like to explore his/her surfing journey. Lars loved surf camp and decided that he wants to learn more and get better at surfing. Commitment to train after school & on the weekends by himself & his parents brought us yesterday to this moment – participating at a friendly local surf contest at Manhattan Beach which earned him 6th place after advancing to the final.

It was a great day of learning and recapping all what we learned together this winter. Stoked for you Lars and can not wait to push you into your next level.
