Charmed, but not expecting much. He’s a Gemini pretty convinced he’s too unreadable, too undefinable for anyone to have an impression

He gets nervous giggles every time you do it

Not because it’s bad, but because it’s so real

He doesn’t really think about his “image”, so it’s weird to see it all from the outside

Faust thinks it’s funny, and when she wants you to do it, she slithers over and bonks your face with her nose. Asra!

Starts picking up on your little mannerisms and speech patterns to tease you right back

Bonus: Aisha & Salim think it’s adorable

Julian

That…is…

BRILLIANT

“Who else can you do?”

Gushes over your inimitable talent (pun intended) and insists you show it off all over town

Has you order drinks as him at the Raven, and Barth laughs and calls you “Doc”

He has his own repertoire of impressions, some better than others (his Lucio is mostly caricature, but his Valdemar is scary good)

Has been working on an impression of you, but won’t show it off ‘til it’s flawless

Nadia

The only impressions she’s ever seen of herself are the Court talking behind her back

She seems like a tough audience at first, but she’s a blushy mess 

Convinced you’re holding back to flatter her or spare her feelings

“Surely, I am…colder…than that?”

The posture is what kills her (and the rest of your audience)

Your best bit is her scolding Valerius, and you’re so good it actually makes him balk

Muriel

Embarrassed

He thought he was ready

He wasn’t

Still not used to the idea of people remembering him, much less acknowledging him, but analyzing him??

Asks you timidly about a few of his quirkier traits

“That doesn’t…bother you, does it?”

Quietly impressed that you can match his voice, though

Portia

Applauds for you the first time you show it off

Trying to play it cool, but beside herself blushing

Promises you she’s not embarrassed, mostly just flattered (and a teensy bit hyperaware of how she does and says everything, but no big deal)

Thinks it’s so sweet that you took the time to practice it

Calls you cheeky if you bring it up off-the-cuff to tease her

She does tons of impressions, mostly for mocking uppity nobles and her brother, and she has voices for all the pets

Lucio

He usually gets angry when he sees others’ impressions of him

They’re not uncommon in Vesuvia, and they’re always unflattering (he’s even more upset when they’re inaccurate)

He still gets angry, but only because he can’t argue with it

So instead of yelling and threatening, like he normally does with Lucio-impersonators, he pouts

Still brings it up hours later, oscillating wildly between flattered by how much attention you’ve obviously been paying to him, and livid that you’re reading him like this

Nitpicks the details, like how he stands, and how his left arm moves

You’ve definitely opened a can of worms, and don’t expect him to drop it anytime soon ☕
