I was just about to spiral into a bad panic attack, and my boyfriend goes “Stick an ice cube in your mouth.” I’m not really sure where he got the idea, and I kinda laughed at it because I didn’t see how it would help, but he was insistent. So I did it.
And now I’m on my second cube, because it worked.

I have always had assignments during this week. Yes, it is a rule at my university. virtually no one follows or enforces it.
Tumblr media
professors aren’t allowed to give assignments during the last week of classes, yet here i am with 3 homework assignments
should’ve confronted them when i had the chance

After years of research and observation, I can finally say that all chemistry teachers are professor Snape in disguise.
Any disagreement?

I want to keep going
To be honest, I haven’t been writing lately. I’m taking a full class load and have been so busy with work and school. Maybe I’ll fill this time with studyblr content. Just thought this was better than more silence. ✌️

You know, if you really stop and think about it…writeblr is essentially akin to an Alcoholics Anonymous group where we all share our unpleasant writing experiences with complete strangers and laugh and cry and hope the kind strangers will help us heal and motivate us to be the best versions of ourselves.
“Hello everyone, I’m a newcomer. I’m not really good at introductions but um….my name is Jake?”
“Hi Jake.”
“A little bit about me? Well, um, I have 17 unfinished wips. I killed all my characters in the last scene I wrote and I’m not sure what to do now. I’m only 1/3 of the way through the book and everyone’s dead. I just keep. killing. all my characters. It’s a problem and I need help.”
“It’s okay, Jake, we’ve all been there. That’s what we’re here for. We’re here to help you.”
