1:19 p.m. I've been dealing with one inciting incident at my job for the past two weeks, and I am fully ready and willing to make a change, cause bitch... It's time. Anyways, one of my coworkers chose to 'share their feelings' with me today, when I did not ask for them (full disclosure: I'm actively seeking another job *because I can, and I am allowed to*), but something came over this person to gaslight the shit out of me.

"I bet it's hard to find another office where everyone really gets along, you know?" ... this dude worked by himself for years before he joined our office, wtf is he talking about...

"[Proceeds to explain away the sequence of events the way he saw them.]" Neat. I do not care.

I've been at this job for eight years (this guy might have been here for half that, and even then, he was seasonal for most of it). He thinks I'm leaving to be fucking cute and this legit was my face the whole time:

There is absolutely nothing wrong with change and if someone tries to scare you and tells you there is, tell them to go fuck themselves. Never feel cornered or trapped.
