Bodie Lighthouse at Sunset
I don’t usually get out for sunsets, but since they are happening in the afternoon these days, it’s a bit easier.
Shooting a sunset is beautiful, thing is, when it’s over it’s dark. Where shooting a sunrise, it starts out dark and when it’s over, well it’s daytime. :)

I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in finding a smoother pebble or prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me ~    Sir Isaac Newton

How can you buy or sell the sky, the warmth of the land? The idea is strange to us. If we do not own the freshness of the air and the sparkle of the water, how can you buy them? Every part of this earth is sacred to my people. Every shining pine needle, every sandy shore, every mist in the dark woods, every clearing and humming insect is holy in the memory and experience of my people. -Chief Seattle
