You genuinely can not convince me that there is another, more mischaracterized character in Danganronpa that's not Sato.

It’s actually baffling to me that the Danganronpa fandom is always open to make the more underutilized characters have more character, depth, and cohesive storylines. But the moment Sato comes to the picture, they all turn their backs against her and give her the same trait that seems like it has been a staple of her ever since the creation of the universe as we fucking know it.

Like, Natsumi gets all this character, love, and appreciation on the fandom. But Sato gets the cold boot by making her absolutely unredeemable and Natsu a saint? What the hell happened to morally grey characters? I thought we liked that! (No hate to her btw, I love her. Just not as much as Sato.)

Not to mention, that you could ATLEAST make those traits INTERESTING, like give her a reason for her evil actions, they don’t have to be justifiable, just a more complex reason other than just “I luv Mahiru!!!!!!”

And imma be fr, this isn’t even present in official Danganronpa, this is purely a fandom only thing and it pisses me off so much. Hopefully one day we can remove this stupid thing and actually do her justice.
