Was anyone here listening to English commentator on bein sports for Australia VS France?
Andrew Nabbout, an Australian player, intentionally fouls a French player, as a lot of players do. (well after the game started)
As soon as this happens (While the replay of the foul was being played)
Commentator: "By the way, Nabbout is Lebanese"
Few Questions:
Do you think the commentator could have had a better moment to bring this up and introduce Nabbout to the audience?
Do you think the commentator intended to insinuate something for bringing that up during that specific moment?
Do you think its okay for commentators to start mentioning different nationalities/backgrounds players may hold whenever they commit a foul?
What are your thoughts on this?
(Just in case: this is for the World Cup 2018)
This is about a debate me and a friend were having on this topic, and we would like to know the opinion of others.
Neither of us are Lebanese.

The caste system
I was in one of the local west zone shops tonight waiting at the counter to pay for my shopping.
What I saw when I was waiting disgusted me.
An old Indian lady (I’m Irish for context if that counts) was shouting at the guys packing her shopping into bags.
She was giving these guys abuse like I’d never heard before (I know what mader chud and Ben chod means). From what I got from it she was abusing the bag packets that she could buy stuff in carrefour cheaper and was saying she would never come there again.
I’m pretty non confrontational but I shop here a lot and know these guys and they’re decent people.
But, the human in me couldn’t watch what was going on and not say anything. My wife was so embarrassed but I had to call her out on her bullshit. These guys were there packing her bags and she was giving them shit. I had to say if you don’t like the prices the fo to carrefour and shop, these guys are only trying to help you, you aren’t in India anymore and your caste system doesn’t exist.
Of course being white, I got called out as a racist but I believe I did the right thing.
What would you do?

Just noticed an option for using Apple Pay in the Uber app.
Much more secure option then leaving your credit cards saved in the app. Hopefully will negate any potential risk of losing access to your account since they are no payment methods that can be exploited.

Moving with wife and baby soon. How easy or difficult is it to find taxis with baby capsules / car seats fitted? Read somewhere that it's mandatory by law but that in practice that's not the case?

Hi r/dubai
This question is for my friend who plans on going to Malaysia for her bachelor's degree. She wants to go for a Bachelor's in Architecture or a Bachelor's in Interior Design course but wants to go the Foundation route. Now as we know, a Foundation course requires the O'Levels grades and the Bachelor's degree would require the results of said Foundation course.
But here's the problem: According to her parents, most Jobs won't accept her if he applies to her degree with her O'Level results.
A little background info - My friend is doing A'Levels currently (Physics and Math), but feels she needs to go through the foundation route as it gives a better understanding of design which is required for the course.
So what exactly are the general job requirements in UAE (or any country really) when done with one's bachelor's course (but going the foundation -> bachelor's route)? And what sort of high school requirements/certificates are needed?
