So, we were going to have Tarot cards as the character busts because we happened to have just enough important characters to make a full set of Major Arcana and each person fit pretty well to different cards... but the image didn’t transfer very well to what we wanted. 

So I’m back to drawing the regular character busts at 100% size instead of 400% to get better detail.

I think starting over was the best thing to happen. I mean, I was planning on starting over anyway... just not from scratch. But now I finally got everything organized! I organized the characters’ skills, and even created new ones. I organized the equipment, it was so much easier since I didn’t have t go back and redo all the the equipment shops if I moved something in the items list.

Now I just need to work on making better maps.

Though it’s still going to take a while to complete it because we only have 2 people actively working on it... in our free time (college life, yo).  And neither of our majors line up with Game Development or even Art or Writing... so it takes some doing to work on this game and make it something people might actually play.

I guess when all you have to choose from is RPG Maker’s sprites, you can edit them to fit what you want?  Welp, that’s what I did, anyway.

Presenting:  T-Rex, of The Warriors!  (Original vs Edit)

The Warriors are a group of close-knit vigilantes that assist the Main Character from time to time *cough*allthetime*cough*.

Also note:  We wanted her to be darker, so I’m going to change her sprite so that she looks more like how we envisioned her, as seen in the top couple sprites.

Glitches don’t find themselves!

SOOO glad we have people to play the game as we’re making it.

We recently found one of our friends who hadn’t played the game yet, he found a little glitch with a simple fix.  But when another friend played it, he found a MAJOR glitch.  The type of glitch that had Mod MC going, “This... this shouldn’t even happen unless I tell it to!  How did this even happen??”

Next, I played, and that glitch didn’t happen.  We’re a little confused, but I think we just have to play a little more to see if it happens again, and what the similarities are.

Update:  The monsters don’t brutally murder anymore.  You’re welcome.

So Mod MC was testing a bit more of the game, and went outside the first town, and immediately got attacked by some wisps.  Cute little floating balls of light, right?  Wrong!  They kept paralyzing the entire team, and proceeded to kill them.

After that, Mod MC went back to edit the monsters and realized that the wisps, and other monsters in that area, had character stats instead of monster stats.  

You may now proceed into the dark forest without fear!
