This diy tutorial has been done 1,000 times but I was making these already so I recorded it! These candles are SO EASY and cheap to make. Any colors, herbs, small crystals, etc. can work for this method.
However PLEASE be careful when burning candles with herbs. They can catch fire!

I want y’all to know that at least ONCE, your deity(s)/spirit guide(s)/angel(s) has watched you sleep with their eyes softening in endearment at your gentle, sleeping face. They leaned over, hovering their lips above your forehead with their eyes closed, taking a moment to hear the darling sound of your slow breathing & taking in the waft of your sweet scent, before they placed a kiss on your forehead in a smitten moment of tender fondness. They protect you in your most vulnerable state whilst they fall more in love with you!!! They love you!!! Every part of you!!! Pls remember this!!!!

In case no one’s told you lately:
You’re not a burden.
It’s okay to be struggling.
It’s okay to tell people you’re struggling.
Please tell people you’re struggling.
Don’t suffer in silence. Tell someone. Get help.
It’s okay to need help.
Please get yourself help.
You’re not the exception to recovery.
The world is more beautiful because you’re in it.
You’re worth it.
You’re a good person.
Thank you for existing.
You’re beautiful.
You’re not the exception to recovery.
Please stay alive.
If you’re looking for a sign not to kill yourself, this is it.
Please, stay alive.
People love you.
I love you.
Don’t give up.
You’re not the exception to recovery.
You’re not the exception to recovery.

Offerings/devotions I associate with Apollon 🕊🌞
Just a small list of food/actions I assosiate with Apollon for offerings. It’s mostly my experience with him and how much he liked the things I’ve offered and made for him (‘: I’ll probably be updating this often as I discover more devotions and offerings with my experiences with Apollon. <3
Tumblr media
Offerings 🍯
honey & milk
anything caramel related (seriously, he loves caramel)
citrine, tangerine quartz, sun stone
chocolate
raising plants and offering them to him. I recommend cacti!!!
Apple juice or orange juice
Honey mustard apple & chicken panini (oddly specific but he seemed to really love it)
Sliced apples and caramel or honey
Bread and honey!
Reece’s cups
Poetry you wrote for him
Jewelery that reminds you of him
Flowers! Sunflowers, Hyacinths, Baby’s breath, Orange and yellow roses, even dandelions will do! etc.
Devotions 🕯
reading him your favorite poems/book
singing to him
divining in front of his alter/with him
sitting in the sun
dancing when something shitty happens and you need to vent it out
practicing your creativity (drawing, poetry, etc)
writing him secrets/wishes/compliments/thoughts on bay leaves and burning it or leaving it on his alter
deity journal dedicated to him (letters to him, info page about him, prayers to him, etc)
talking to him through candle divination. I really recommend this form of divination when you want to ask simpler questions to him or simply want to hang out with him! He’s very interactive through the flame (‘:
Creative writing! (Careful of hubris if you decide to write about the Gods <3)
Self! Care! Making sure you’re mentally and physically healthy is definitely a devotion. Hang out with Apollon with a face mask or just eating a comfort food and relaxing. Do what makes you feel relaxed and happy with Apollon during a self care session <3
How to get closer ☀️
Talk to him!!! Inside your thoughts or verbally. I like to talk to him via candle divination and tarot divination <3
Leave a space for him to sit when you’re on the bus, when you’re sleeping, wherever you may be and would like Apollon to accompany.
He really loves joining in on spell casting when the spell is very sun witch based! It really brings you closer. He’s also a great help during the casting.
Whether you had a bad day or a good day, blast some music and sit in front of his alter and just breathe, feel his presence. After you’re relaxed, tell him all about your day and thank him for being there for you.

Niobe *mocking*: you’ve often dressed up in women’s dresses
Apollo: No
Apollo: I wear dresses. They’re not “women’s dresses”
Apollo: They’re my dresses. I buy them
Apollo: die mad bitch

The gods come when you need them, you don’t have to call but if you do they’re there. Religion used to make me so uncomfortable and now it’s such a large source of comfort and healthy behavior. I asked to be found and I was. And I continue to be found.

making lemon or orange tea, and stirring it clockwise to bring his energy to you
🌟 his prescence:

art that brings tidal waves of emotion to you
the smell of citrus
these are my original ideas that i use in my practise. feel free to use them, but do not claim them as your own ✨

I think of all the Greek gods, Apollo is the peak of duality and contradcitions becos
god of disease & healing
the quintessential god of ancient greece, yet he is a foreign god
one meaning of his name is ‘to unite’ and another meaning is ‘to destroy’
his titles - he of the true word & he of the crooked words
he who shines like the sun & he who descends like the night
protector of young boys and slayer of young boys
he represents the cycle seasonal death and rebirth
even though he’s the life giving light of the sun, he has connections with death and graves
his music is unrestricted - he plays at sober, civilised events like weddings and wild, ecstatic events like bacchanals
he is called the farworker, yet he is the connection between the divine and the human
