funniest character dynamic in the world to me is when you have one guy knows hes gay but doesnt realise hes in love with his best friend and another guy who knows hes in love with his best friend but does not know hes gay
so funny to me how archivist isn't a that well known or popular job but every second fiction podcast i listen to has got a character who is an archivist
ohh this is great, thank you everyone for your answers! I wasn't aware of any of this lmao!
has anyone ever figured out what's up with the dice sound in this episode?
maybe it happens at other moments that I haven't noticed, in any case it sounds like John is making a perception check lol, am I misinterpreting this sound as a dice throw or could this be some sort of meta hint? is someone (Kayne?) controlling John, or both of them?

- archive 81 : it's like the podcast format was created for this story. I don't think anyone else will ever do it this good ever again. in each episode, we are offered a new recording made by missing analog nerd Dan about his mysterious new archiving job, but you will suffer through listening to him crumble from jovial to grotesque and barely sane (funnily enough, this came out like. barely 3 weeks after TMA. also there is no archive 81 tv show. nope.)
- woe.begone : story is told from the point of view of an adorable weirdo podcaster launching himself into a dangerous real-life game, which might or might not involve a reality-altering technology. (the story is very long and still ongoing!!)
also if you enjoy anthology series full of great one-shots: the truth, knifepoint horror, acephale, we're not meant to know are all great
i am on my hands and knees begging for podcast recs
