I lied I'm back already with thoughts. We all know Yang is a terrible flirt, but specifically when it comes to something real. She's terrified of voicing those things, of falling.

However, and you can see it time and time again, she's the type to care with her actions, to speak through her actions. After the fight with Adam, immediately holding Blake close, even on the airship, gently putting a hand over Blake's. The Atlas arc is full of them but the biggest is when they reunite and she soothes Blake's worries by cupping her cheek and doing the little thumb thing, eyes going soft. And in the Ever After? Too many times to count.

I know there's a lot of "Blake wasn't ready for a relationship after Adam" which is absolutely true, but Yang had her own issues, her own abandonments to work through before she could get there.

Yang's always been an act first talk later type of person, but especially when it comes to her feelings. Because there's a safety in touches and knowing someone's still there, but speaking such vulnerable thoughts? Flirting when it's not just a joke, making it real? Now that's terrifying. That's something that could make someone leave, has made people leave in her past.

Anyway I like just woke up so this is probably a mess but man. Yang being afraid to fall, even when she's been falling for a while, has me in a chokehold.
