"I wasn't joking about her trying to spawn a black hole, you know." Haruki scoffed, "She may create one without thinking when she sees you." He peered out to see Jet walking around outside on her hands while exerting her divine power.
"It's to the point where most students can't be around her cause her power is just on another level. Me and Moori are like the only people that can stand to be near her while training."

He blushed, looking away nervously, "No, no we haven't. Jet seems more preoccupied with learning her powers so even asking her that hasn't come into my mind. Plus, I'd never ask to marry her without your permission! My grandmother would kill me!" He laughed.

"She's been trying to make a black hole for the past week if that counts." Haruki chuckled. He'd hold out the bracelet, showing the intricate, interwoven sigils for the spell. On first glance, it'd be incomprehensible to the common magic user, but as Fang and Haruki looked, it came into focus as something akin to a fly trap.
"Once I learn this and put my own version on myself, I can start weening myself off of the spell. He says give it a few years and I can start taking in magic and holding it naturally."

Haruki perked up, smiling at Fang, "Good afternoon, my training is going quite well. I've been learning more about the magic being used to keep my abilities in check. It's been hard, but I've been doing my best!" He chuckled, "Are you looking for Jet?"

Moori would wave him off, happ to go back to the two and restart their training for the day. -- It would be months before talks of Haruki leaving his patron came up. He was still unsure of his powers and didn't want to risk getting out of control. Jet was good at helping him, but it took nearly another year before he left his patronage with Devon. At that point he was pretty good at using the psuedo-seraphim and now worked on making that his own so he didn't have to lean on Jet for her divine magic.

"Oh yes, she is quite the spellsmith." He smiled, "She developed a small bracelet for Haruki to wear for the time being to make it easier for him to absorb the divine energy and store it. We have a plan of teaching him how to decipher the magic and make it himself so he doesn't have to rely on the bracelet."

Moori was worried but took the information with a nod, making sure to start on better barriers to protect the outside world and the people of the monastery. There was a question though, "Destiny never told our ancestors of this second cosmic entity as if it never existed. Why would Entropy be showing their face now after all these resets?"

"Half past 6 I believe." Liam would nod to Dylan who stood and went back to the door. "I have your clothes ready for the day. Your advisor was insistent we get you up at 6 this morning so breakfast is done as well." She placed the back of her hand on his head as if checking for fever.

Murdoch hadn't been in the right mind ever since he arrived back home a couple months prior. He had been thrown into a job he wasn't properly prepared to take over and had his childhood memories returned to him right before coming here. Didn't help that a lot of bad things happened in the Sunray Province before he made his return. His foster family was all gone, and although he was made aware of how he could speak to them, he knew that it easn't exactly that easy to get ahold of them. So, he was in a castle, not knowing anyone that surrounded him, and was incredibly depressed with his limited social interactions. He'd be fine in the end, he knew, but it was going to take some getting use too.
That was when one of the advisors decided to bring in paperwork to him, telling him they were hiring new staff, and he needed to be the one to finalize the hiring process. So, he sat down on his throne and patiently waited for the people he was meant to hire.

Thankfully Liam and Dylan had put their swords away as Meph was leaving or this would be super awkward. Dylan would go to Murdoch, placing a hand on his thigh, "Easy now my lord. Calm down, breathe." He'd glance to Liam who brought over a damp cloth. She'd begin to pat his forehead. "Are you okay? We heard you speaking gibberish in your sleep."

Devon nodded, watching him leave, "Why did we separate?" He hummed before heading back to his realm.
There were many signs leading to the hot springs and once he arrived, many people would be there. Jet would be in the springs still with Haruki, sitting in his lap with a big smile on her face in a private area blocked off by rock walls.

"Ah... thats..." He frowned, thinking hard about this, "God it's been so long, I barely remember. I think it was a choice we made. Entropy did split up, though, but into super small pieces. They split up into the seven sins."

Dylan cringed hearing that, "I hope you know you're not going to stop me just because you tell me not to. You're gonna have to convince Murdoch to not want to have sex with me." This being, god, whatever it was, had to be a teenager or something. There was no way he seriously thought just saying he claimed someone meant the two of them were going to just say yes.
"Whatever. Now can you leave so we can start his day?" Liam grumbled.

"It's like child's play to them, why?" He stood, brushing off his pants annoyed. "He assumed he would just continue to make stronger barriers to keep Entropy out."

"We've been here for less than a day and yes, we can tell he is a sad magic boy." Liam lowered her sword, "I am not the war you know, he is not the life you may know. We come from a different place with different gods and different demons. Does he even really know what you are? We may not be forthcoming with our identities, but we're not acting like he knows us and is our person."

"We were supposed to be here as visitors." she glared at Dylan who backed off, "Just seeing what this island is all about is what we wanted to do but if this man is supposed to be yours, you haven't left anything on him nor does he have anything pertaining to you to show that he belongs to you. I am War, he is Life."

"You don't claim things first of all and secondly this is not how you go about telling people you own someone!" Dylan yelled, throwing his sword up, but found it being stopped by Liam. He grunted, giving her a death glare as she started to speak.
"I felt you last night." Liam stated, "You're not being civil coming out of nowhere without warning us and laying claim to a child. We have the right to be a bit rude when you do something like this out of the blue." She stared at him harshly, moving her sword to point back at the intruder. "Do not think for a moment I won't slice your arm off or even..." the sword lowered to hover over Murdoch.

Liam nearly screamed at the sight, but quickly raised her arm where a giant claymore appeared. She grasped it in her hands before rushing towards the being. Liam swung at the mysterious creature just as Dylan rushed in with his own sword and shook Murdoch, "My lord! You need to wake up!"
