🍄 - how did you get your system name?

i got it from the fall out boy album so much for stardust, bc i'm a nerd lol. thought about changing it to The Greenhouse System, but i was outvoted

☕ - what is switching like for you?

usually it just kinda happens, we're monoconscious, (osdd-1b? idk) so we just go from feeling like one person to feeling like someone else. sometimes we can kinda pull someone to front by like. trying to feel the way that being them feels

🌙 - do you have subsystems?

depending on your definition, we might? we have kind of a group of fictives, all from one source, who aren't quite as fully there as other alters, so we kinda look at them as a subsys?

👻 - do your alters/headmates have different voices or speech patterns?

we don't get the chance to really find our own voices irl, besides small changes in pitch, tone, speed, etc. in our head/typing several of us have different accents though :)

i (atlas) had a breakdown and then afterwords "i" felt different, talked different, used a different name talking to friends, and referred to atlas in third person. (it was orion, our protector) so that was a pretty big tipoff lol. still took a while to figure it all out and come to terms with it

Not all systems function in the same way. Many systems may find that, for whatever reason, they split or form new headmates and alters easily! Splitting new system members often is nothing to be ashamed about, and systems who split easily deserve to be accepted and celebrated in our spaces. So here’s to all the systems who split easily!

plurality is a spectrum. no one's plurality is going to look exactly the same because by nature of plurality, we are all different. some plurals have headspaces, some don't, some have inconsistent headspaces. some plurals have easy communication, some have none, some have difficult communication. some have strong amnesia, some have none, some have weak amnesia. some have really diverse headmates, some have really similar headmates, some have a lot of headmates, some have few headmates. some are disordered, some are not, some lie in an inbetween. some are adaptive, some are spontaneous, some are created. and some of these things can vary from day to day or as systems change over time. plurality is a spectrum, not just a black and white experience
