DELETED SCENES COMPLAINT

Okay but WHY were both of Thomas Brodie-Sangster’s REALLY GOOD Newt scenes cut out of these movies?!

Like what the fuck Wes. Whyyy

I’m just glad that they at least filmed them so we could watch it, but really… I would have been SO HAPPY if they had been in the movies. Those scenes are important and mean a lot to the relationships in the movie (*cough cough* newtmas and minewt)

wonders why the scene where newt admits his suicide attempt was deleted in the final film ...it’s such a good part of newt. also slightly disappointed by the portrayal of newt’s death in the movie (imo it didn't do justice to pg 250, but I guess mercy killings are just too controversial)

I completed agree that Newt’s death wasn't as emotional and devastating as I thought it would be. I’m kind of sad they ended up deleting the scene where Newt admits his suicide attempt, but I feel like they couldn't execute Newt’s death exactly like the book since mercy killing is so controversial.
