Retcon

I’ve been thinking about it…so, in Shackled Revelations, every single protagonist in the main series games is canon to it. This includes the Let’s Go games since they are in the core series games for protagonists (Timeline of events will be explained next time). However, I’m thinking of adding some from the side games and spin-offs as well. Do you think I should? Or not? I’ll put up a poll about this below. And if yes, please tell me which protagonists you want to add. But there is 1 rule

Ngl in your shackled revelations au, I’m imagining doku getting ganged up by the 20+ rivals who are PISSED that he killed their either best friends (or romantic partner in the case of like Blue because those two are pretty much a married couple at this point), the legendary pokemon whom the protagonists bonded with, and even a few of the evil teams like team star or yell because of the above.

also are Liko and Satoshi canon to the verse cuz I’d feel like Dokutaro would research him the most.

Actually, that does happen in the final storyline of the AU. Essentially, they are EXTREMELY PISSED OFF when they find out. However, they can't immediately go in guns blazing, they need to defeat all the mind controlled pokemon and trainers, knock every single secret base out, take out and find the 25-27 generals of Pecharunt. It'll be explained in due time. Speaking of the generals, some are actually the real killers of the protags and some have connections to some of the them:

Ethan: Ethan encountered one of the generals in Bellsprout Tower. The general proceeded to chase and attack Ethan. Ethan, thinking it’s just a regular pokemon to attack him, however, this proved to be a near-fatal mistake. Not being on the same level, his team got wiped, Ethan couldn’t even see the appearance properly for some reason, and he felt one thing that overpowered him: fear. He needed to run, and get out of here. However, due to the general’s ability to produce oil and paint that can mess with the mind (in this case, cause extreme dizziness), Ethan stumbled through the tower and barely got out before passing out. He was hurried to the nearby hospital to rest. He was still a bit shaken from this incident.

Lucas: In this AU, he's the professor's assistant, but does accompany Dawn and Barry later on, however, he does get whisked off to Hisui by Arceus and goes by the alias Rei prior to the events of the game. Later he ends up finding a 'shiny' gligar when completing the dex. Let's just say, it wasn't a gligar. That incident scarred him and was one of the few times it scared the hell out of him. The same Pokémon is also the reason why he stopped his journey (when he got back in Sinnoh) after the 4th badge as the same Pokemon killed one of his team members. So he hasn’t battled since then. He only got back into the battling after some encouragement from Dawn and Barry.

Hilda: In this AU, she alongside her twin are the heroes chosen by the dragons. She encountered one of the generals, thinking that he’s a regular trash bag when she wanted to throw her trash. She only found out when it stood up at a rapid speed upon noticing her appearance. She just finished her 5th gym badge so feeling slightly confident, she took the Pokémon on wanting to catch it, it proved to be a mistake. The general wiped out her team but he wasn’t done yet, the moment he saw Hilda, he said in clear English: “You are the one”, before approaching Hilda at a rapid speed, Hilda didn’t know what to do so she just ran. When she looked back she saw that the general was wielding a…knife? It was pretty late at night so she couldn’t see. Just before the ‘knife’ stabbed her, her brother (Hilbert), Cheren and Bianca arrived to help her. They all engaged in a brawl before the general had to retreat. Till this day, neither knew who or what attacked them.

Serena: She alongside her neighbor Calem are the main protags in this AU. She encountered one of the generals in Lumoise City, she got an invitation when she woke up in the morning in the Pokémon Centre. The invitation says that she was invited to an Opera Play called ‘The Phantom of The Opera’. The invitation says to follow a specific set of instructions to the place. The place ended up being an abounded Opera house in Lumoise city, far from any place. She was told to pay 4000 Pokédollars to enter despite the lack of the door. Nevertheless, she paid the exact amount before entering. Serena disappeared for exactly 8 days, 8 hours, 8 minutes and 8 seconds before she was discovered lying unconscious outside the Opera House. She claims to recall the events, when she woke up, there was a piece of paper in her hands that says ‘Thank you for watching The Phantom of The Opera, we hope to see you again!’

Florian: In this AU, he alongside his twin are the protags and he is the Violet side. He encountered one of the generals when he was looking for a dunsparse for his team. When he encountered the general, he was about to battle thinking it was a regular dunsparse, the general revealed the whole thing before Florian could send out a Pokeball. The general’s eyes turned red and blue, flashing through both with swirls like when he was hypnotizing Florian. When the general was done, he went back underground with Florian falling unconscious after being hypnotized. Florian woke up the next morning as his sister found him, he mentioned that he doesn’t recall anything that night. He claims to be fine but for the next 8 days, he started to have an insatiable greed for power. So he trained his team relentlessly and not caring for anybody. It only stopped after Juliana and their mother’s support helped him. Till now, he doesn’t know why he had this feeling.

Juliana: Like with Florian, same info except she represents the scarlet side. She met a general outside Levincia city. When she accidentally encountered one, it appeared to be friendly and didn’t seem to attack her, ultimately she decided to catch it. This proved to be a mistake. The general dropped its disguise and shocked Juliana badly, leaving her with some electrical burns. Her pokemon, went out to battle the general, while some helped her to carry up on Koraidon. The general quickly defeated her pokemon with ease, while the remaining got returned and Koraidon immediately dashed as fast as possible away from the attacker. However, the general was fast and was able to close in the distance, however, due to being close to Medali City, Rika and Larry were to able to deter away the general, and because of the need to conceal their identities, the general left. Once that happened, Juliana was treated for her injuries with Florian being informed of the situation.

Now, sorry if I rambled on for too long but yeah, that’s what happened. And the people who are close to the protags are royally screwed.

As for Liko and Ash, they’re not canon to this AU. This only has the main series games. However, in my trivia post about Pecharunt, this one should ambiguously answer your question

So, yes, he did actually do some research on both Ash and Liko on Bulbapedia (yes, that Bulbapedia). He’s even aware of other dimensions, AUs and timelines, you can see the post relating to his quotes. However, this does mean he’s aware of your ‘Kaijumorpha’ Au as well as ‘Scars of Black and White’. His main thoughts are interesting and ‘Ghetsis being Ghetsis’ respectively. Also, I would say if Kaijuran (Kaiju Kieran) and SR Pecharunt fought. It’s a one-sided beatdown for Kaijuran, details on his power level next time.

While I admit that does look like Wally’s shooting laser beams under his arm (that’s badass for my boy), that isn’t actually a laser beam. Wally’s respirator suit actually has a gauntlet under his sleeves that allows him to fire pokeballs. I guess it’s used for sneak attacks or something (I hadn’t read the manga in a while).

Holy cow, you cooked. This is the definition of creature amalgam fusion. I really liked the concept and the design is very good. I actually have a similar idea to which where Kieran does end up being an amalgam. But no spoilers on what’s gonna happen. But either way, great job!

I made a reference of Kieran for the "Power Always Comes At a Price" au!

Here's the major story for the AU

After being beat by Florian/Juliana In the champion's league, he decides that if his pokemon couldn't get stronger, then he will. After scouring the library for any information on humans getting stronger, he finds out about a tale of a human who became a pokemon hybrid inside the crater of area zero alongside both the tale of Pecharunt and the Terapagos of Area Zero. After going back to his home town of kitikami and capturing Pecharunt with his masterball instead of terapagos, He is sent alongside Carmine and Florian/Juliana to a trip to area zero by Briar to find the "Greatest Treasure of Area Zero" (Terapgos) and asks the protagonist if he could borrow ogerpon while they’re down in area zero. The protagonist obliges and gives him the ogre. As they ascend further into area zero, Kieran finds lost Pokémon fuse tech amongst the rubble from when sada was still working in area zero (she’s alive in this au but her fate is a whole other story on it’s own.) When they reach the bottom of area zero, Kieran grabs Terapagos and turns on the machine with both pecharunt and ogerpon also inside the machine. When the process is complete, a great ball of light shines before dissipating away reavealing the machine, now burnt and useless, and in the center of it all lies Kieran no longer human or Pokémon anymore.

post fusion, he got really screwed up after the transformation. With his head and face being the only reminder of what Kieran once was pre-chimerization. As while the three legendries were gone physically, Kieran soon realized that they began to hear the voices in his head, these voices being terapagos, ogerpon, and pecharunt. As Kieran, at first, was unable to quell the ogre and the peach's arguing alongside the cries of the divine terrapin. Quickly, this drove Kieran "feral". After Florian/Juliana and Carmine were able to defeat the crazed Kieran; He was able to regain most control of his new body afterwards.

For inspirations for the design, I based the body on the Kothoga from The Relic and the Scorpius rex from Camp Cretaceous alongside the barbs of the tripe strike from the HTTYD tv show for the toxic chain barbs that sprout from Kieran's waist (if you wanted to know what those were.)

New AU Idea (Dang it, I'm already working on Shackled Revelations----)

So, I've seen several Kieranpon AUs, a few Kieranrunts and Terapagos Kieran AUs. So, that actually got me thinking, since Kieranpon can literally transform into a humana and back. That got me thinking:

IT STARTED WHEN AN ALIEN DEVICE DID WHAT IT DI-

Ok, in all seriousness, I wanted to make a Ben 10 crossover AU with Pokemon for quite some time and I feel that this is the perfect time. So, long story short, Kieran found the Omnitrix when he was 8, and the usual happens like what happened in the Classic Ben 10 series. However, he took the Omnitrix off when he was 10 and only took it back on when he was I guess 13? So, he has some kind of protective instinct to reach to his left wrist when he gets bullied. He does do training with his main team. This all takes place before the DLC.

However, 8 months before it starts, Kieran got a message from his father about the Highbreed Invasion (Basically, beginning of Alien Force Arc) and not put on the Omnitrix since he has it, but Kieran's confused as the Omnitrix is in his room back at Mossui Town, during the Teal Mask DLC, he immediately bolted to his room. Where he keeps a box containing memorabilia, and he finds his Omnitrix. Carmine, who obviously knows about it, is worried and concerned about. he does encounter Albedo and some familiar foes. I'll explain more in depth stuff next time. But this is all I have for now. I really wanna show you his design, but I'm terrible at drawing so, yeah.

Now, since in its canon alternate timelines exist in Ben 10, I figured that Kieran does canonically enter alteante timelines either by accident or by Professor Paradox. Specifically, Toxic Chain Possession AUs. Namely, Project Venus, Toxic Consequences and Bridged Toxicity. Mainly because I helped work on some of them so I figured it would maybe be ok, PV as I contributed several ideas. TC for the name and Kieran's corrupted team idea and BT just for the name. So, maybe.

So, I made small changes to the original, you could take a look.

With everyone making their own Toxic Chain Possession Aus and me being huge a fan of them, I think it’s time that I took my own take on the Au! I’ll start things out with the peach himself: Pecharunt.

Now, a few things to note, I’m really bad at drawing so when it comes to appearances, I’ll try my best to describe them, with all that said, let’s start with him!

Pecharunt in my Au (no name yet), sort of has a snowball effect when it comes to his role in the story. He mainly appears in the base game but only in the Naranjuva (Naranja + Uva) academy. Later, his role ramps up through The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, before finally becoming the main antagonist in the final 2 (new and original) stories (by me).

But wait, how does he appear in the base game if he’s stuck in Kitakami? Well, let’s start by listing how he looks like in his various appearances:

His shell form is more or less the same as a regular Pecharunt, however, the colour is now more of a magenta colour but leading into looking like a Pecha Berry, the nubs on top now resembles more like the leaves. The circle area where his eyes were now vaguely resemble crossbones but act like a mask, his eyes are also yellow in colour with a magenta filter. However, he also has a visible miasmic aura and several curved gaseous toxic spikes around his shell, which can be used to fling them out like missiles or shorten them and use the shell to fling himself as a wrecking ball.

In his revealed form, his body shape is more or less the same as the original, but with some differences, his eyes are now Teal in colour with yellow markings underneath his eyes. His ‘hair’ is now a mix of indigo and magenta, and his hands are scarlet (left hand) and violet (right hand), both being darker in colour. He has a mouth but doesn’t show it unless when he’s talking, and has the same skull crossbones like mask on his face. And from the halves of his shell (which have more cracks than the original), 2 chains that are claw-like at the end come out from there, acting like fists.

Now, it still doesn’t explain why he appears in the base game. It’s not like he has a human form right?

Ok he does:

in his human form, he goes by the alias: 'Momotaro' (Reaaaaaal subtle, I know). He’s roughly 14-15 years old, so, around Florian and Juliana’s age and height. His skin is the same as people living in the era where momotaro takes place. His eye colour is magenta and his hair remains the same, albeit, it now more resembles canon Pecharunt’s hair. He wears the summer or winter uniform depending on the month. He also has a scarlet glove on his left hand and a violet glove on his right. As you can tell, he attends Naranjuva Academy just 1.5 years before The Twins (Florian and Juliana), why did he do it? Well, no one knows.

During The Teal Mask DLC, he wears the same summer outfit but during the 'Festival of Masks', he dons a traditional Japanese outfit reminiscent of Momotaro, except that it's now in his colour scheme. He also wears a mask that vaguely resembles his shell form.

During The Indigo Disk DLC, he wears the same uniform as Florian and Juliana. Although, at times, he does wear a Scarlet uniform and a Violet jacket.

Personality: Pecharunt is calm, collected and intimidating simultaneously. He is also extremely patient, seeing as he waited 7216 years in preparation for his plan to be carried out. He's also a quick thinker and adaptable in a fight, being able to use information he had noticed against his opponents and exploits them in order to use it against them. Pecharunt prefers fight over flight as it allows him to test his skills and learn what he can do better. Despite his serious demeanour, he's shown to act casual at times, especially with his generals. Pecharunt sees the Loyal 3 and his generals as valued allies, like a tight-knit family. He also will kill anyone that stands in his way of his plans, but he prefers to erase their memories instead since he finds killing 'too messy'. As Momotaro, he's a bit anti-social, preferring to stay alone and read books. He's also a bit meek and shy when communicating, this may be an act though, he has a bit of Matpat in him, being a theorist. Once you get to know him, he can be a pretty nice guy. However, this makes him the prime target for bullies, but he doesn't say anything. When he's battling another trainer, pray he doesn't clobber you instantly. His team is stupidly strong and he does not give his opponent a single chance to attack. He would normally say this before a battle starts:

"In this battle [insert name], I'm gonna put you through hell before you die..."

This is the most common variation but there are others as well.

Next time, I'll explain his powers, abilities, Pokemon teams, history and trivia next time. Until then, this is me, signing off!

This is SICK! A really creative Au.

With scarlet and violet sort of confirming alternate timelines (and a huge sci-fi fan). This is a really creative and interesting AU idea. Timeline merging isn’t uncommon in Aus (to me), so it’s kinda neat! I’m looking forward to this Au!

we’ve got a drawing of Kieranpon in his Ogerpon form and a Full body drawing of Pecharunt Kieran

first off: pecharunt kieran (who i really need a better name for..)

since pecharunt kieran is working with scraps of their identity, their human form is… off putting, to say the least.

since in their human form they don’t have a special place to store their poison, it just kind of ends up naturally explelling itself, like through the tears and saliva. the poison also causes their human form to be extra weak, which is why the chains are there for support. (it’s also because his human form is just. unstable in general but like. yknow)

in terms of memories, pecharunt kieran’s memories are split between pecharunt’s memories before the merge, the fragments of memories from kieran before the split, and the weird mishmash after the split. Pecharunt kieran is the only merged entity that has knowledge of the previous timeline, although the MC sometimes has strange dreams about it.. but this is about our pecha boy not the MC

due to the weird mishmash of memories and the poisonous saliva, Pecharunt Kieran can’t really speak normally. They talk in broken sentences, as Pecharunt could not speak any human language beforehand, and there’s only a little bit of Kieran we can work with here

in terms of personality and emotions, Pecharunt Kieran feels very envious of their counterpart. Kieranpon got most of their memories and personality and such, and is mostly stable in terms of appearance. Pecharunt Kieran feels as if they should have gotten those attributes, and believes that Kieranpon stole those qualities from them. so they DEFINITELY will end up fighting. and while Pecharunt Kieran’s human body isn’t very strong, the chains are. (i mean just LOOK at them)

SPEAKING OF THIS AU’s KIERANPON

this is mostly just gonna be about his Ogerpon form, and how it is different from his sisters (i haven’t drawn her ogerpon form yet

in terms of what parts of Kieranpon got compared to his sister, he got more of the true parts of Ogerpon, instead of the parts the signboards talk about. They both did, but in terms of symbolism Kieran is more “true” to the original Ogerpon. Kieran and Carmine both look very similar, but there are some differences.

While Kieran’s horns, curve up, Carmine’s horns curve more downwards and back almost. Carmine is also taller and has more sharper features in general, but in terms of strength, both are about the same with their masks

SPEAKING OF THE MASKS, there is only 1 copy of each mask! so they have to share. Kieran tends to use the Teal and Wellspring Masks, while Carmine favors the Hearthflame and Cornerstone Masks. They both have their own cudgels, though.

Both Kieran and Carmine can understand what Pokémon are saying, but Kieran specifically seems to have the easiest time understanding them by the way! technically ALL of them can but like.. yknow

So, while I’m trying to sort some things for my Toxic Chain Possession AU, I’m gonna post some trivia about my version of Pecharunt:

Pecharunt’s voice is a mix of Matapt from ‘Game Theory’ and Bill Cipher from ‘Gravity Falls’

His personality is inspired by traits of Matpat, Bill Cipher and Eon (5 Years Later).

Pecharunt’s human form isn’t a disguise, if you were to check his DNA and Aura, it would be read as Human.

He has multiple inspirations, but that’ll be for another time.

Pecharunt is a neither a ghost, nor a ghost-type Pokémon. Like Acerola’s Mimikyu from the anime for the former. It’s unclear what species he falls under.

Despite being 14-15 years old biologically in his human form, he displays several traits that are seemingly impossible for a kid his age to do.

His favorite food is Mochi.

He likes singing (and is really good at it).

He’s a very good voice actor and actor (Atticus is jealous of him)

While he has a human form, it’s unknown why he joined the academy.

Despite his powers not relating to the ability, he’s somehow aware of alternate timelines and realities. Evidenced by some of his quotes. It’s unknown if it’s a coincidence or he actually knows.

He has multiple Pokémon and humans that he has poisoned as his scouts and agents around the globe.

The only ones that know his plans are the P8 Council and his assistants.

In this AU, he’s genetically related to the Glimmora line. It would be explained in the future.

He doesn’t like NFTs

His favorite video game is ‘Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story’ (but he’s not a fan of the remake)

He bears no hatred or holds grudges to anyone. Since he feels that it’s pointless to do so.

So, I’ve seen that the name ‘Korrosion Klan’ may not be suitable. Well, short answer why, but there is a hate group in America called the Ku Klux Klan; been around for over a century and a half. (Because of this, we can’t have anything with the initials KKK anymore.) (thx to @segasister for clarifying the name and the anonymous anon.)

So, instead of coming up with a new name by myself…

I’m going to see YOUR ideas for the new name! You could drop your name ideas in the comments or in the inbox. After a while, I’ll put up a poll for all candidates and the one with the most number of votes will be the new name! With that said: there are some rules that the name has to follow:

It should not have the word ‘Team’

The name itself is subtle yet conveys what the Pecharunts are.

Ok he does:

in his human form, he goes by the alias: 'Momotaro' (Reaaaaaal subtle, I know). He’s roughly 14-15 years old, so, around Florian and Juliana’s age and height. His skin is the same as people living in the era where momotaro takes place. His eye colour is magenta and his hair remains the same, albeit, it now more resembles canon Pecharunt’s hair. He wears the summer or winter uniform depending on the month. He also has a scarlet glove on his left hand and a violet glove on his right. As you can tell, he attends Naranjuva Academy just 1.5 years before The Twins (Florian and Juliana), why did he do it? Well, no one knows.

During The Teal Mask DLC, he wears the same summer outfit but during the 'Festival of Masks', he dons a traditional Japanese outfit reminiscent of Momotaro, except that it's now in his colour scheme. He also wears a mask that vaguely resembles his shell form.

During The Indigo Disk DLC, he wears the same uniform as Florian and Juliana. Although, at times, he does wear a Scarlet uniform and a Violet jacket.

Personality: Pecharunt is calm, collected and intimidating simultaneously. He is also extremely patient, seeing as he waited 7216 years in preparation for his plan to be carried out. He's also a quick thinker and adaptable in a fight, being able to use information he had noticed against his opponents and exploits them in order to use it against them. Pecharunt prefers fight over flight as it allows him to test his skills and learn what he can do better. Despite his serious demeanour, he's shown to act casual at times, especially with his generals. Pecharunt sees the Loyal 3 and his generals as valued allies, like a tight-knit family. He also will kill anyone that stands in his way of his plans, but he prefers to erase their memories instead since he finds killing 'too messy'. As Momotaro, he's a bit anti-social, preferring to stay alone and read books. He's also a bit meek and shy when communicating, this may be an act though, he has a bit of Matpat in him, being a theorist. Once you get to know him, he can be a pretty nice guy. However, this makes him the prime target for bullies, but he doesn't say anything. When he's battling another trainer, pray he doesn't clobber you instantly. His team is stupidly strong and he does not give his opponent a single chance to attack. He would normally say this before a battle starts:

"In this battle [insert name], I'm gonna put you through hell before you die..."

This is the most common variation but there are others as well.

I wouldn't say 'rallying', it's just more of getting their approval of using their Pecharunts. I never thought of rallying them together though, but I could try. 'Pending Invitation' is where I've chosen Pecharunts to be part of the Klan but their original creators have not reblogged the original post or left a comment to be officially part of the Klan. Only PV Pecharunt's creator did, which is why he's in 'Confirmed'. Hope this answers your question!
