Wish zine makers would just say that they only want artists who have thousands of followers and are already established online. It would be nice to know ahead of time to not bother if you have less than 'X' amount of followers.

sometimes you can apply to a certain fandom zine and you almost KNOW ahead of time who's getting in based on how many views their art gets in the fandom. i know we hear about how cliquish zine groups can be but it never stops being frustrating when you see it over and over.
