Hi my name is Drumbot Merlin Insu’bordinate Meow Meow Brian and I’m a drummer (that’s how I got my name). I have long curly copper hair that reaches my shoulders and metallic gray eyes like silver coins and a lot of people tell me I look like Ben Below (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Drumbot Beta but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a robot but my heart is made of flesh. I have shiny brass skin. I’m also a prophet, and I live on a starship called Aurora where I commit atrocities and sing songs about them (I’m immortal). I’m a space pirate (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear a fuck ton of layers. I love Jonny D’Ville and Gunpowder Tim and they help make me clothes sometimes. For example today I was wearing a black trench coat with a brown vest and long black slacks, a white dress shirt and brown combat boots. I was wearing a black top hat with gold goggles, a patch of the aurora, and a red rose. I was hanging outside Camelot. It was hot and awful and there was too much sun, which I was not very happy about. A lot of cowboys stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

Raphaella La Cognizi's surname resembles the Latin word "cognosco", which means "I know".

In addition to this, the design of her costume and her wings resembles the designs of the wing system of Leonardo Da Vinci, and in addition the name itself "Raphaella" is derived from the name Raffaello.

And you know who was named Raffaello?

Raffaello Sanzio, great Renaissance painter.

Now, considering that other members of the Mechanisms come from planets inspired by various historical periods (for example Nastya with the Russian Revolution or Tim with the First World War), it is not unlikely that she really comes from a planet inspired by Renaissance Italy.

So yeah Raphaella speaks spitalian (space italian).
