5. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

This is a great question.

Lia is very bad at getting what she wants. She often believes she doesn't deserve anything. But she also have avoided the kingdoms for almost a decade other then small trips for supplies.

So Lia doesn't think she would go so far. But really she will go to the ends of the earth to get what she wants. She just don't see it that way. Something I love about her character. She fully believes she is doing this for others, people close to her can't die if no one is close to her.

never be embarrassed for being proud of your OC.  never listen to the voices telling you they’re too powerful or too weak,  too angry or too happy,  too hard or too vulnerable,  too strong or not strong enough.  if they are exactly how you intended to create them,  or if they’ve grown beyond what you imagined in a way that makes you happy,  then that’s all that matters.  every published and produced ‘canon’ character is someone’s OC.  you don’t bat an eye at these characters being proclaimed to be powerful.  you don’t bat an eye at them being praised within the text or loved by the writers and fans.  your OC is no different.  there is not any real,  important difference between what you’ve created and what you see on the pages of a book or on a screen.  it’s all of equal value.  it’s all just people telling stories and enjoyment is the only real value.

Lia didn't fully realize that she was holding her breath till she let it go. She realized how where they, the headmaster of beacon and the local hot topic not going to cause waves. Well it would seem even though Ozpin had never been here, they where willing to listen to his request.

The room was bright and lively. She felt her own eyes wondering. People paid them not mind. Finally setting down... Lia ran her finger along the page. Glance up at the mention of the Haven's former headmaster.

"No, I didn't realize Greenwood had left the position." She replied. "It is always that way?" She asked suddenly realizing she wasn't fully sure how long he had been headmaster. "Contentious I mean." she added with a small chuckle.

Lips twitching into a sad smile, Ozpin inclined his head and stepped forward to hold open the door for her. With luck, no one inside would recognize hers as the face on the news and they could lunch in complete obscurity. Goodness knows she deserved that, after all this.

Inside, the restaurant was a riot of color and hummed with a low but regular burble of conversation; a quiet word with the woman up front saw them escorted to a corner booth, tucked against a window affording a nice view across the street and the crystalline blue canal beyond. Ozpin flicked idly through the menu for a moment or two, carefully not looking at Lia, and then said lightly, "Did you hear that the Mistral Council has finally decided whom to appoint to replace Headmaster Greenwood?"

Small talk, never his strong suit. But it seemed like a safe enough subject, normal enough.

"Quite a relief, really. I understand the selection process became rather contentious."
