quick update

hii!! we just wanted to give you all a quick update :) we’re a little more settled in at school now, but we’re both still pretty busy. however! we’re going to start updating version of love again! <3 currently, we’re working to finish it up and then the chapters will be posted regularly again. BUT we’re almost done. there’s going to be 30 chapters plus an epilogue, and we just finished 29, so expect that really soon!!

after we finish that, we’re going to go ahead and start working on love again, the jinjin smau. we’re not sure when that one will start because we want to get quite a bit of it done before we start posting it. we’ll keep you all updated though!

last, but definitely not least, we just want to go ahead and thank you all again. all of your love and comments for version of love has been so amazing to read!! we still can’t believe how many of you are enjoying it, and it means so so much to us. so thank you all so much and we love you!! <3

You looked in admiration as you saw your boyfriend move across the floor of the practice room. A soft smile made its way to your lips as you watched him finish the dance.

“How come you never go that hard when we play Just Dance?” You giggled as WinWin jumped to look at you. He ran towards you, engulfing you in a warm hug. The bag of food in your hands obviously peaking his interest. Once he let go, you walked over to the middle of the practice room, spinning as you sprawled out on the floor.

Emptying the bag, WinWin sat down next to you, instantly picking up his favorite drink.

“How do you always know how to make me feel better,” WinWin questioned.

“I just do,” You shrugged with a grin.

“I was talking to the drink,” he started laughing at your shocked face. Soon joining in, he loved hearing you laugh. No matter how small it was, it always made his day.

The two of you ate in a comfortable silence, until WinWin sprang up. The sudden movement surprised you, as WinWin walked over to his phone that plugged into the sound system. He stared intently at his phone. You just laughed at his focused face. He was so focused on his phone he did not see you throwing away all of the trash from your little dance practice picnic.

Music soon filled the room as a slow song started playing. WinWin had an accomplished grin on his face as he saw you, making your way to where you were sitting.

“Come here,” he smiled at you, calling you over. You stood up and walked over to where he was.

His arms circled your waist as he pulled you into his arms. He started to sway and soon released you to settle his hands in yours.

“Let loose, and dance with me” he whispered softly.

“I’m good. I’m not the best dancer.” You pulled away from him.

A pout formed on his lips. It took everything in you not to kiss him right then and there.

“Don’t use the pout on me,” you turned away from him. His face soon filled your eye-line as he popped his head in front of yours. He pushed his bottom lip out even more, widening his eyes.

“This isn’t fair! You are way too cute,” you gave him a quick peck on the lips, his pout faltered a little as he was surprised.

“Please,” he said in a small baby voice, returning to his adorable pout.

“Fine,” you gave in with a smile. He took your hands in his as he spun you around to the beat of the music. You took a breath in, releasing it as you just let go. He pulled you towards him, your back hitting his chest.

“I love you so much,” he kissed your temple.

“I love you too,” your face blushed as you reached up to leave a quick kiss on his cheek.

“How’s it going,” you whispered into the phone. As you spoke, your roommate moved over in her bed, causing you to snap your head towards her side of the room. You held your breath hoping you didn’t wake her up.

“It’s good,” your boyfriend, Yeonjun, laughed. “We’re working on our next comeback, and it’s really different so I’m really excited,” he added. “How about you? What time is it there?”

“It’s 2am, and everything is good. I’m doing really well in all of my classes. And-”

“It’s 2am,” he whispered, interrupting you. “You need to go to bed, Y/N. You have class at 8:30.”

You sighed, “I know, but I’d much rather talk with you.”

“I would too, but I have to get back to practice soon anyways, and you need sleep,” Yeonjun explained. “Goodnight.”

“Goodnight, I love you,” you said.

“I love you too,” he responded before ending the call. 

That was the worst part about going to college in the states. You had to move away from your boyfriend, Yeonjun. He was an idol under Big Hit, so he was always busy too. But the time difference was the hardest part. When it was morning for you it was night for him and vice versa. It had only been a few months since you moved, but they had been some of the hardest of your life. You were super lucky to get accepted into your school, but being away from your friends and family in Seoul was hard.

You and Yeonjun talked as much as possible, usually once or twice a day. It was better than nothing. One thing that helped a lot is when you left, Yeonjun gave you a few of his sweatshirts to wear when you missed him. When they were given to you they smelled like his cologne, but now they had been washed so many times they just smelled like your laundry detergent. They still helped a litte, but they didn’t stop you from missing Yeonjun. 

Luckily, the next day you only had one class, so afterwards you could do your assignments and sleep. However, you were surprised when you received a text saying you had a package. You didn’t remember ordering anything, and your parents didn’t say anything about sending you something. You were confused but walked to get your package anyway. 

After you returned to your dorm room, you sat the package on your bed and grabbed scissors to open it. The box opened to reveal some sort of sweatshirt and a note on the top. You read the note first in hopes that it would help your confusion. The package turned out to be from Yeonjun. He guessed that your sweatshirts had stopped smelling like him, so he sent you more. The only requirement was that you send the others back so he can wear them. You smiled and sent him a text thanking him. Then, you packed up the other sweatshirts you had of his and went ahead and sent them back. It went on like this for the rest of your school year. You’d wear Yeonjun’s sweatshirts for as long as they smelled like him. Then, he’d send you more and you’d send the ones you had back to him. 

This time was different though. Yeonjun didn’t know it but you were coming back to Seoul for the entire summer, so you were delivering his sweatshirts in person. You’d been texting the other members of TXT, so you knew when the best time to go to their dorm was. It worked out really well because your first day back home was spent with your family. Then, TXT had a day off and you would be with Yeonjun. So when your second day in Seoul came around you made your way to the Tomorrow x Together dorm and knocked on the door, the box of Yeonjun’s sweatshirts in your hand. 

“Can someone get that,” you heard Yeonjun call, only to be followed by each of the boys saying no, so he’d be the one to open the door. Yeonjun’s groan was cut short as he opened the door and saw you standing there. Confusion flashed across his face, but it was quickly followed by a huge grin. He grabbed the box of sweatshirts out of your arms and threw it into his dorm carelessly. Then he wrapped you into a tight hug. “What’re you doing here,” he asked as he tucked his head into your neck.

“I’m returning your sweatshirts,” you said softly, hugging him tighter.

He pulled back to look at you. “I meant in Seoul,” he sighed as he rolled his eyes. You and him walked into his dorm as he picked up the box.

“I’m here for the summer,” you answered as he dropped the box once again. “You know you should really stop throwing that box around.”

“Shut up,” he said, wrapping his arms around you again. “I’m getting you for an entire summer, don’t start it by being a smart ass.”

You chuckled, “That’s why you love me though.”

Yeonjun rolled his eyes and picked up the box, this time he set it on the table. “You’re lucky I love you,” he said, kissing your head.

“I love you too,” you sighed.
