July is on its way and you know what that means! Nalu Week is here! This year's event will take place from July 27th to August 2nd, with Nalu Day on the 26th acting as our free day

This year we are running Nalu Week in collaboration with @thenaluarchive and @weeknalu on twitter

Rules

Art, writing, gifsets, manga colouring, or any other fan work are accepted and encouraged

All works must be focused on nalu. Background ships are fine

Stolen, traced, or ai generated works will not be accepted

Use of official art is okay

You are encouraged to make use of the prompts provided, but by no means are you constrained to them. Feel free to interpret them however you want or disregard them altogether.

Tag your works with #naluweek2023 within the first five tags, or tag @allaboutnalu or @thenaluarchive so we can see and share your works

There is no cutoff or deadline; we will continue to share any nalu week works regardless of when they're posted.

Nalu headcanons:

-Lucy kisses him first. He says some really sweet shit to her and she on impulse kissed him

-Natsu is so clingy. He will find any excuse to touch her

-It took the guild so long to figure out they were together. Nalu never came out and said “we’re dating” they just kept acting the same way as usual, thinking that Happy had already spread the news

-The guild found out at the grand magic games when Natsu won a particularly hard battle and in celebration Lucy ran up and kissed him

-Natsu likes to watch Lucy write. There's something very calming about watching her work

-Lucy plays with his hair all the time. He loves it. It's the fastest way to calm him down when he gets fired up

Gray : Just like yours?

More Jellal joining Fairy Tail headcanons:

-Master Makarov absolutely loves him. Jellal causes almost no problems, has never destroyed the guild, helps cleanup after brawls, etc. Makarov would kill for him at this point

-being in the guild has very positively affected his mental health. He’s used to them being kind to him in passing. But he always thought it was just cause of his past with Erza, but now that he’s a member he sees that they genuinely love and respect him.

-Mira and Cana gave him one week to get adjusted before they started relentlessly teasing him. Cana has never called him by his real name. It’s always Jelly bean, Erza’s boyfriend, Jello Shot, etc

-Jellal gets referred to as “Erza’s boyfriend” constantly. Both of them get red and say it’s not like that but Fairy Tail is manifesting.

-Almost every team has fought to get Jellal on their team. He is happy to help out but always reminds them he has his own team.

-Laxus insists that he’s going to steal Jellal from Erza and is almost always seen with his arm around Jellal’s shoulders.

-Jellal and Laxus have quite the bromance.

-He has so many rumors about him. Like literally he cannot even sneeze without someone talking about it.

-Fairy Tail does not care that Jellal isn’t a wizard saint anymore. They refer to him as such and brag about it to other guilds.

- Crime Sorciere is very protective over him. So every time anyone jokes about stealing Jellal from them. They all jump to action causing several fights to break out (it's playful but also he is their baby girl)

some established/living together nalu headcanons cause i miss them

one thing about them? they make everything an adventure. everything is a fun little outing.

gotta get groceries? let’s all go together and get lunch too. gotta stop by the guild? cool we should take the scenic route. cleaning the apartment? turn on the music and we’ll do it together.

they are INTOLERABLE together in public

constantly whispering and giggling and nudging each other, sharing inside jokes, lost in their own little world. it’s sickening

lots of petty arguments. it was your turn to do the dishes, who finished the last of the snack, you’re hogging the blanket, you got to pick the show last time, etc etc

the petty arguments usually result in lucy stomping around and huffing and natsu glaring at a wall for ten minutes before they both fold and start talking to each other again

they can’t watch movies together bc lucy always accidentally spoils the movie by making eerily accurate predictions. it pisses natsu off

natsu has a terrible habit of leaving all of his shit all over the house

shoes in front of the door instead of on the rack, clothes strewn across the floor, backpack in the middle of the living room, etc etc

lucy hates this cause she’s already clumsy by nature and the random obstacles on the floor just make it worse

natsu, early riser, waking up at 5am vs lucy, night owl, going to bed at 5am

also lucy who wears contacts/glasses and has negative vision vs natsu who could probably spot a bug from 20 miles away without squinting

lucy drools and natsu snores. a lethal combination. they’re terrible to share a bed with. happy hates them

they take bubble baths together sometimes. natsu doesn’t rly like them cause he hates the feeling of his skin getting all pruny but does it cause he likes making lucy happy

lucy loves bubble baths w natsu cause the water never gets cold!!!! it’s like her own personal hot tub

lucy always gives happy a lil kiss on the top of his head before bed and natsu started to demand them after awhile cause he felt left out
