    Alucard turned and seemed to be looking about for something. His vampiric senses reached out for the disturbance he'd felt earlier. Perhaps together they could make sense of all this. The unfamiliar energy that sat in the air seemed to be localized and spreading but very slowly. "There is some sort of rift forming. I know not if it was conjured or a random act, but it seems to be.. growing."     Turning to the young hunter Alucard continued with a bold assumption. "This world is not your own." Eyes that could freeze most men in fear met his companions. "Your very presence feels out of place. This explains why our information involving Belmont's and the like do not quite match up."

"The last thing I remember? I was called in with a group to investigate a long-abandoned manor that was rumored to be the center of demonic activity in the area, and I was under the assumption that this activity was remnants of the group who murdered my family. As I made my way throughout the building, I felt my senses starting to dim at an alarming rate." Aesen replied.

"I must have blacked out, because when I woke up, I was outside. I started following the trees to hopefully find someone who I knew that would be able to tell me what had taken place."

    That confusion in her gaze was genuine. Her eyes searched over him as if he was familiar, yet something was amiss. When she spoke it all became clear, and no, he was not the Alucard she knew of. All they had in common was that they shared a name and a father in the vampire lord. Nothing more. Aside from that their history was very different.     "I am indeed his son. You look upon me as if you know me.. yet.. you do not. Perhaps you should tell me more of this.. other son of Dracula."Another step. He would not hurt her unprovoked so she had nothing to worry about, though her caution was not taken as offense.

    The shadows fell behind him, though he was still unsure whether she was friend or foe. "Noah.." he echoed, taking a moment to reach out with his senses. There was some sort of power that surrounded her. Familiar, yet unknown to him. "A force surrounds you, Noah. One most wouldn’t expect. Quite misleading.."

    Death had simply become another experience like a skin to be shed. The shock of revival and temporary amnesia was jarring but once everything came together the man once known as Trevor Belmont had come to accept his fate. Trevor is dead, father. That's what he'd said to the vampire king. Alucard no longer saw it as a living death. Instead, a new life.     This man, whoever he was, could sense his power and even pick up his very state of being with a glance. The shadows seemed to warp and twist around Alucard to obscure him from view slightly, fierce eyes quickly studying the man. "Quite the contradiction, isn't it? Such is the life of a vampire I suppose."

     The very scent that wafts from this one is not human.      The silvern god turns to inspect the newcomer, unsure of whether this…creature poses a threat or not.  Recently revived again, Sephiroth’s body is far more mortal than Mother would appreciate.  it is a secret he keeps hidden.  He does not wish to disappoint her, but if this new…thing, for it is certainly a thing, not human nor Cetra.  And yet it smells of death…      “What are you?; for you are neither living nor dead.  You have no heartbeat, and yet you walk just as I.”

There will be a new Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 trailer premiering today at 9am Eastern time today. Hoping to see more of Alucard in the trailer to see what might become of him.

Her eyes searched the man. Darkness was about him, obviously showing itself. Tall, rugged looking in dark clothes. She raised a brow at what he called himself. Alucard? Wasn’t that what Adrian called himself too? Perhaps this man was from another dimension. Suspicious rose in her mind that she began circling him to get a better look.

He seemed to seem as if he were shrinking back into the shadows. Warping her perspective… something Adrian didn’t have as far as she knew. If this guy is calling himself Alucard, then what choice does she have to go by it? Still suspicious, but for now she went with it.

"Very well, Alucard. I am named Noah." The usual lie she told people. I am Noah business, trying to seem more of a male. Naomi wasn’t sure if this was becoming a habit, or if she was just paranoid enough to protect her own identity. Even if there was no reason to.

Unaware? Doubtful. In this world there had been but three true Belmonts. Gabriel, Trevor and Simon. Gabriel Belmont fell from grace and become Dracul and his son Trevor had been transformed into a vampire by his father, becoming the man that stood before Aesen. Young Simon, Trevor's son, had grown up to become a fearsome hunter that unknowingly fought side-by-side with his father against the vampire king. Those were the only Belmont's. Unless..

"I see.." It seemed they'd figured it out at the same time. The distortions. The lapses of time. "Something weakens the fabric of reality." he said looking over the boy with a look of concern. "Can you tell me the last thing you remember before finding yourself here?"

"And perhaps you are unaware of the rest."

Aesen’s tone was serious, but his thoughts were racing. Three Belmonts, two are dead. It didn’t seem possible, but he remembered being told about the two parallel timelines by one of the Time Guardians. Perhaps he’d jumped the timelines and was unaware of it. But that meant that once he’d returned, he was in a lot of trouble.

"That explains a lot…" he muttered.

I’ve got some ideas for some new remixes and things coming up but I’m busy on a couple of commissions for the time being so I thought I’d post up some more recent stuff I’ve done. I say recent, this was back in July.

Now, I am a very big fan of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, I know people who aren’t too fond of it and I know people sometimes just do not accept reboots. I waited a while after its release to play it and then when I finally did I was absolutely hooked. Okay some of the level design is not perfect and it possibly might be a tad long, but I was hooked on Gabriel and his journey. Not only that, even though there is barely any musical references to the old Castlevania music (there are a couple, the track ‘Luminous Vista’ reflecting Super Castlevania IV I thought was really special) I think Oscar Araujo did an incredible job with the soundtrack. It’s one of my favourite soundtracks for a next gen game.

This remix is mostly of…let’s say Super Castlevania IV’s music since I was listening to that. Using the tracks ‘Vampire Killer’, ‘The Beginning’ and ‘Bloody Tears’. I wanted to make an arrangement of those that sounded like the soundtrack to Lords of Shadow, I wanted to hear if it could be done. I also threw in some of the theme from Lords of Shadow that comes in several tracks, as well as finishing it off with a variation of ‘The Titan’ from Lords of Shadow 2. If you don’t understand the title of this remix, it is the words Gabriel says when he defeats a Lord of Shadow and takes a piece of the God mask.

Seriously with Lords of Shadow 2 and Dark Souls 2 coming so soon, I’m really hyped right now.

The last few moments felt like a blur. Alucard couldn't quite recall just where he'd come from to reach such an unfamiliar place. The Wallachian country side was the last thing he remembered. "So.. there is a force behind all this." Spoken more to himself than his blue haired company. "Perhaps you can tell me where I am." he said turning to the youth, sure that his appearance was questionable to this stranger.

"Without a doubt."

"For so many people to end up here, without so much as an explanation … I can’t imagine just what could be behind all this.” Rest assured, though, that when he found out, it would be more than just a scolding the culprit earned.

A Belmont? Impossible. This was either a trick or there was another force at work. Alucard detected no deception in the hunters words and though he seemed calm vampiric senses had taken note of his elevated heart rate. Not a lie, but clearly alarmed.

"I am well acquainted with the Belmont clan and you are not one of them. There have been but three and two of them are dead."In a manner of speaking, anyway. Those 'dead' two were still up on their feet and walking, but they no longer called themselves by the name of Belmont.

Grandfather? That would only be possible if his son, Simon, was to have had a child of his own. In the last months he’d lost track of Simon, but it was still clear to him that this person was not his grandchild.

A dhampir though? Trevor Belmont was born a human and resurrected as the vampire called Alucard. There was no mistake about that. Whoever this boy thought he was, he was mistaken. "You heard me correctly, boy. Your information is.. partially correct, but I am no dhampir, nor am I your grandfather."The look he gave from other worldly eyes was piercing, focused on the confused hunter. "You’ve yet to give me your name."
