I know that being a system means you're rather different from other parts inside, but that doesn't mean you can't share the same traits or habits:
Some systems don't have distinctive handwritings that can be distinguished from one to another
Some systems don't have a jarring difference when it comes to using clothes or style of fashion
Some systems don't have a separate accent from one another, they all speak the same, and use similar words
Some systems don't have varying amounts of skills or proficiency, they all have it evenly the same throughout, not lesser nor better than others
Some systems don't have their specific disorder affecting just one alter, it affects everyone collectively too
Some systems don't have opposing opinions or ideas from each other, they all share similar life views and perception
Systems being different is true to an extent, but since multiple alters share one brain, it's common to find overlapping qualities among them as well.
What other kinds of traits do you all similarly have, or could be indistinguishable among systems? Join in and share them here!

Just fully realized that we dont really know who's fronting most of the time unless it's EXTREMELY obvious, and that's completely fine. We don't need to know who's fronting and we don't owe it to anyone to know. It's okay to just exist. To just be and not worry about who we are at the moment. It's okay for us to just live and not stress out about figuring out who we are so we can change our simplyplural or tell our friends or flock who is fronting. It's perfectly alright to not know. We're okay like this.

please do not let online system spaces convince you that you need to label and have every single thing in your system figured out. that’s an extremely unrealistic goal and you’re not any sort of faker for not knowing every single thing.
just be.

I think the only right way to talk about the system responsibility discourse is to think of it like having roommates.
if one of your roommates is being loud and the neighbour complains, you still apologise, right?
even though you weren't the one making the noise, since you still live together, it's partially your responsibility to keep your roommates in check.
the roommate in question is still the one at fault obviously, but it's still part of your job to talk to that person and make sure it doesnt happen again

being a system is going through years and years of abuse and torment. being a system is sitting in the shower sobbing because you don’t know who or where you are. being a system is losing year-long friends because they refuse to believe you. being a system is looking the worst parts of you in the face and going “i think we can change”. being a system is holding a child version of yourself and repeating “i love you” over and over again.
being a system is hugging yourself and saying, “hey, we’re gonna be okay.”

You know how in basic anatomy you learn about the blind spot, where the retina can’t pick up any light?
You know how you learn that the reason you don’t tend to notice your blind spot is because, rather than leaving an obvious gap of nothingness, your brain attempts to fill in the gap with surrounding information?
That’s how amnesia is for us. If we had giant, immediately obvious gaps in memory that could be noticed without prompting, that would lead us to discover our disorder much too soon. The brain tries to fill in the gaps.

disordered system culture is simultaneously feeling every emotion in every way as a reaction to something, but also still being confused on how you should feel

Shoutout to all those systems that were "perfect" and "easy" in childhood, but were actually deeply traumatized and isolated.
Shoutout to those same systems that started showing signs of early trauma later on, and were then considered burdens and told that their trauma just "suddenly appeared"

plural culture is going shopping and having clothes from the kids section, womens section, and men’s section with wildly varying styles as well as a bunch of other random things from all over the store that we all wanted individually.
