Conversation
Valar: these Elves are so neat, how wonderful, I'm so glad the Children of Ilúvatar have awakened, we have so much to teach them, lets invite them into the Undying Lands and hang out and be bros
Humans: hey that sounds pretty cool, can we get in on that?
Valar: new phone who dis?

Gandalf refers to Feanor’s skill as “unspeakable,” which is ironic because I’m guessing that Feanor never shut up about it.

Elendil and His Sons Were Saved
But when the devouring wave rolled over the land and Númenor toppled to its fall, then he would have been overwhelmed and would have deemed it the lesser grief to perish, for no wrench of death could be more bitter than the loss and agony of that day; but the great wind took him, wilder than any wind that Men had known, roaring from the west, and it swept his ships far away; and it rent their sails and snapped their masts, hunting the unhappy men like straws upon the water. —The Silmarillion, Akallabêth.

So, this article has been on the back burner for weeks. I took it all at face value, a couple years ago, and then I stumbled upon it again when some one vandalized it. It was then that I realized it was marked for needing sources.
I figured, ‘okay, sure, this will be easy! It’s all going to be in the LACE chapter of Morgoth’s Ring.’

But many [Green-elves] went north and entered the guarded realm of Thingol, and were merged with his people. ~ The Silmarillion, Of the Sindar. (Artwork: Green Elves by TurnerMohan on DeviantART)

Ok guys, sorry for the double post but a few people pointed out that some of the sketches in my SilmDumps are really small, so here they are in all their glory (?). So, angsty/sleeping Maedhros (take your pic), baby Maedhros, short hair Maedhros, Celegorm and Huan, Curvo’s hands, angsty Maedhros take 2, modern lost Maglor, baby Ambarussa, sleeping Moryo and Maedhros’ hand because I’m a happy snail and I like Maedhros (after 5 Mae doodles I’m sure you might have guessed it)
And now I’m off to draw some sad stuff, probably. Stupid hormones.
