Anyone else think its weird of a stranger to comment a long description (almost a story) of your oc and their oc hanging out? It wasnt anything bad and was pretty innocent but I just did not know this person in the slightest and it weirded me out.

It does sound a little strange.

But it is not so much different had they drawn the characters together in a piece of fanart which some artists do allow.

i would actually give up organs for an 18+ moderated oc storage site like straight up. If a site like that opened up I think I would actually abandon TH entirely.

I am TIRED of the teens on TH because they love going past all the blocks and warning on nsfw and then have the sheer audacity to pitch a fit over it. They're the people who see a little bit of cleavage in a character icon and go 'oh my god uncensored porn! Report! Report! Omg pedophile freak ewww' or have an actual mental breakdown over a character with big tits.

I've had a 14 year old message me on TH just to tell me they mass reported all my nsfw OCs and hoped I would get banned so I 'wouldn't even get the chance to groom someone'. And this is the most recent of 5 incidents from different minors contacting me just to complain about the NSFW I make, thats all properly filtered and has mature locks on btw.

And I feel like this type of shit happens WAY more than people think, its just that nsfw artists don't want to bring it up because theres already a stigma with nsfw and a lot of us are terrified of some random ass child going 'they exposed me to porn!' and getting labeled as a pedo even tho the child exposed themself to it despite the measures taken to keep them out.

I want an 18+ oc storage site so that instead of adults getting in trouble for the shit a kid did the kid gets in trouble. Theres no ground for a kid to stand on if they come to an 18+ website and then get exposed to 18+ content. They would just get fucking banned end of story. No adults getting labeled as a pedo for shit they didnt do.

TH has an awful stigma about nsfw so doing nsfw on th is like walking in a field of landmines and i want to get out of the field so god damn bad.

Sorry for the long ass post i just get so upset with th and its treatment of nsfw. These bitches will fr make you feel less than human.

I too have witnessed underaged artists commenting on filtered Toyhouse profiles thus exposing themselves as having lied about their age.

While I do not think an 18+ website would stop age lying anymore than having filters on Toyhouse does I do agree that it would make it more difficult in some aspects.

very funny that people use social media then get mad at the 'social' part. just load ur chars up at fg or something that way no one can see them unless you directly send them the link to it. ah but then how will everyone know you have a pop design? and so the cycle continues 🙄

Really frustrated with PSA creators not backing up their accusations or straight up lying. Just because someone you don’t like is offering commissions doesn’t mean they’re scamming. Just because you and the other person used the same reference/colors doesn’t mean that they’re stealing or copying you.

Day 3,008 of trying to hype myself up enough to share my art and characters publicly, and it's not going so well. I hate having such bad social anxiety.

I've been slowly getting my very first few characters that I traded away back to remove some of my embarrassing notes left in trade logs when they were hopping back and forth from my main and sale accounts and it's such a relief to finally delete and be free of them, it's irked me for years. Bonus is removal of really really ugly old art too.

I’ve only seen one artist that doesn’t ghost people for just saying “I can offer art” on toyhouse without elaborating how much. It also feels a bit needlessly complicated to price out art for characters the same way you would commissions for BOTH sides.

Yeah the art forum games suck. I dont mind people taking their time but it becomes obvious they just want free art when you send a message after like 1-2 months and they read it but don't respond.

I might just have really bad luck but any time an artist with a style I really like claims me, they never draw for me. It's happened around 4 times now. So at this point whenever those artists claim me I just expect for them to not actually draw for me.
