dyche rather pulled young back out of midfield and back into the backline where he is SHIT than playing keane a single time. yes we never know what's going on behind the scenes blah blah blah but how is this fair? i understand that keane is not good but young is arguably just as shit.

and how would we ever know that he hasn't improved when he wasn't given the chance since last year except for those 33 minutes when everton were already down 5-0 against chelsea. 3 more games this season. just let it end.

made myself upset by overthinking though. four games remaining, can't see him play in any of them. young over him, first game in 107 days in a game where everton was already 5-0 down and it no longer mattered, godfrey already had gotten ready back then but then dyche decided on keane in case branthwaite wasn't going to be fit against forest so he'd have godfrey fit for sure, he'd rather risk keane because he's useless now.

young had played midfield for a while now, dyche rather pulled young back into the backline than playing keane, punch into the guts really. especially with young being arguably just as bad as keane in the back.

coleman, patterson and as it stands even mykolenko injured, still it's young. and godfrey. godfrey was good tonight at least so there's that. keane's been with the club since 2017 and this was likely his last derby and he was the only defender remaining on the bench, he doesn't get involved on the pitch anymore after games, hasn't for a while, hasn't even smiled when the final whistle was blown just now.

i understand dyche because keane is NOT GOOD. out of form, he's never been good under dyche despite having played under him before for burnley. he was finally dropped by him once and for all after wolves. he's got one year left on his contract, he's 31. what now?

don't you just love being unable to enjoy a pretty much historical win because of a stupid player that no one but you likes.

we'll always have the burnley goal though, right? his last game for the club may as well really have been in a 6-0 loss.
