I tried to see how far into TRT I could get without talking to Lisa. 0/10 Do Not Recommend.

I couldn't get stuck in the elevator until I talked to her. And I did everything I could do without the green medallion before talking to her. So every time I called Bess and George or Ned they'd just keep telling me to take the elevator.

I had to save the game before opening Jacques' locker and forgot his combination, so I tried to call Nancy's friends in the hope that they'd help me, only they just told me to take the elevator. Thank goodness for the forums so I didn't have to start over or something.

And I spent like 20 minutes trying to see if there was a way to trigger the green medallion being placed without talking to Lisa. But it didn't work.

I thought I'd heard that you can actually complete the game without ever talking to Lisa. But I sure couldn't do it.

I don't remember ever talking to Katie after discovering the fish in the freezer so I had no idea she was going to take Nancy back to the airport. But now I have a question. She said she would drive her there. Where is Katie's car? She seems to get everywhere by bike or boat. I didn't think she HAD a car.

After a week and a half of looking for my copy of Secret of Shadow Ranch, I finally found it in the case for a completely unrelated disk. And now I think HER should have done at least one puzzle where Nancy has to match disks and cases to find the one she needs.

I haven't played Haunted Carousel in awhile and I forgot how much time you spend talking to people. It takes SEVEN different conversations to get through the first puzzle.

First you have to talk to Harlan to start the game.

Then you have to go to Joy to get the access card.

Then you have to go to Ingrid to get the card readers turned on and the repair instructions.

Then you have to go to Elliot to get the soldering iron.

Then you try to leave a note for Joy and have to talk to Miles.

Then back to Elliot for the soldering iron.

Then back to Harlan to get the power turned on.

And THEN you get to get into the roller coaster and nearly get killed.
