𝗚𝗘𝗠 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧 🚨 The Tatacoa Desert is simply a fantastic place for you to live an experience full of colors, landscapes, and history! This magnificent place covers more than 300 square kilometers of territory, which is technically a tropical dry forest that makes it the second largest and most exotic arid area in Colombia due to the discovery of ancient fossils in the area. You can enjoy natural states that, during the day, will make you feel like you are on another planet, and at night, they will take you closer to the universe. And did you know you can camp and have this gorgeous view as a rooftop? 😍

One of the most precious things about traveling is to explore new places, see different flora and fauna from what we are used to seeing. If there's no biodiversity, there's simply no point for traveling. We can travel better. It's up to us to make the right choices 🧡 . . . . . #biodiversity #conservation #wildlife_seekers https://www.instagram.com/p/CqBVOahOd6N/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Here I am (Angelica), enjoying my favorite Ecuadorian dish in the best place you can have it, El Hornado from El Mercado de la Merced in Riobamba! Riobamba is the world capital of Hornado. Its flavor is unmistakable due to its sour chiriucho prepared with chicha, beer, onion, and chili. It is a tradition of the Chimborazo Province to the famous and unique Hornado de Riobamba prepared in a wood oven with eucalyptus leaves, which maintain the perfect temperature with charcoal in wooden drawers; Thus, the pork reaches a unique cooking and texture that makes this Hornado so special. The second thing I like the most about this market is how the vendors make you feel. You are the center of attraction from the second you enter the food stalls. "My love, come and try this delight," "Come here princess", "My queen come this way"! The vendors (all women, btw) tell you these to attract your attention and to buy the hornado from their stall. The best place to eat this delicious dish and to increase your self-esteem! . . . . . #ecuadortravel #ecuadorturistico #discoverecuador #turismoecuador #travelecuador #ecuador #ecuadormipais #ecuadorisallyouneed #ecuador593 #ecuadortulugarenelmundo #ecuadorpotenciaturistica #hornado #riobamba #riobambaecuador (at Mercado De La Merced Riobamba) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp-qEVNOzMH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Today I bring you Venezuelan Arepas 😍🇻🇪 Some people say that they are similar to a taco... And it kinda is. But we proud Venezuelans don't like to hear it. This marvellous dish is made out of corn dough in the shape of a circle and you can grill them, fry them, and even bake them. You can fill them with EVERYTHING and eat them at any time of the day 😋 . . . . . #arepa #arepapower #arepitas #foodies #foodlove #foods #venezuela (at Venezuela) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp7k2vOOhzl/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The cazuela (casserole) is a typical Chilean 🇨🇱 food commonly found in homemade preparations. It is believed that this dish was introduced to the country by the Spanish conquerors, and its name comes from the container in which it is prepared. It is a vegetable soup with meat, which can be chicken, beef, or lamb. Very typical of winter and common both in the north and the south of the country. The Chilean casserole has a great variety of recipes. In the north, beef or llama casserole is typical, which is generally accompanied by quinoa. In the central area, we find beef and poultry casseroles. To the south, we see the pork and lamb casserole. This is one of the typical Chilean dishes, ideal for the cold 😋 . . . . . . #foodie #foodporn #foodphotography #foodstagram #foodies #foodlove #foodlover #food #foodlove #chile #instachile #chiletravel #chiletrip (at Chile) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp2-oGMukck/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The bandeja paisa is a cultural representation of Colombia 🇨🇴, what's more, it is one of the most outstanding dishes in the country. Its origin occurs in the coffee axis (Antioquia, Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío, and the north of Valle del Cauca) although it is said that it is specifically from Antioquia. The origin of its name is because it was born from the cuisine of the paisas (people from the coffee axis area), and the word tray comes from the property of the dish, its abundance of ingredients requires that it be served on a large and oval plate. known as a tray. Each region prepares it with its own style and food, but the essence remains intact from generation to generation. As we mentioned, the abundance of ingredients is one of its main characteristics, some trays can be served with up to 14 of them (2 companions) including beans, pork rinds, powdered meat, white rice, chorizo, fried egg, avocado, arepa, and ripe plantain. The companions are usually mazamorra con leche and dulcemacho 😋 . . . . . . #foodies #foodlove #foodporn #foodphotography #foodstagram #foodie #food #foodlover #foodgasm #foods #colombia #colombianfood #bandejapaisa (at Antioquia, Colombia) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp04sh0up9t/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

One of the most representative, recognized, and exquisite dishes of the Peruvian Andes is without a doubt the ancient pachamanca. Its name comes from the Quechua “Pacha”, which means earth or soil, and “manca” which means pot, that is, “earth pot”, this being the main characteristic of the dish: it is cooked underground! 🤯 The first step will be to dig a hole in the ground, to immediately place inside some stones previously heated with firewood. Then various types of marinated meats will be placed on top and seasoned with ingredients such as huacatay, chili pepper, chincho, cumin, pepper, and other spices. In addition, potatoes, cassava, sweet potato, corn, cheese, or broad beans will be placed. Finally, a layer of hot stones will be placed and covered with banana leaves, which will be covered with earth. In a few hours and when the cooking is at its exact point, the food will be unearthed and the dish will be ready to serve 😋 . . . . . #perú #perù #perutrip #cuscoperú #cuscoperu 🇵🇪 #visitperu #perutravel #cuscoperu #travelperu #limaperú # #perutrip #perudestinations #peru #food #foodporn #foodie https://www.instagram.com/p/CpxjL84Oqw6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The Gallo Pinto is a typical dish from Costa Rica 🇨🇷 In Costa Rica, it is eaten for breakfast, although popular culture says that gallo pinto can be eaten at any time and that the only rule is to eat it when you feel hungry 😋 It is a very familiar recipe, a dish composed of rice and black/red beans, vegetables, and spices. Currently, it cannot be missing from the parties and celebrations of this Central American country. . . . . #costarica #costaricanfood #costaricafood #foodie #foodporn #foodphotography #foodstagram #foodies #foodlove #puravida (at Terra Sur Travels) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpvBRNXO-c-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

We are not meant for everybody ⚠️ Don't get me wrong. It's not about we thinking we are too good and that we are above some people. It's just that we're not everyone's cup of tea (and viceversa). And I think that's perfectly fine. We love planning epic adventures and it's hard to do that with only 4 days notice. We don't believe last-minute deals are the way to go since 90% of the time those are tours or "packages" no one else thought they were worthwhile. It's important that, you, as a traveler know yourself and what you like, and what your expectations are. If you can relate to most of the points in this post, we are definitely not the right fit for you. The "good" news? There are thousands of companies that will take you no matter what. . . . . . #honestpost #responsibletravel #responsibletraveling #sustainabletravel #sustainabletravelling #ConsciousTravel #adventuremore #adventureclub #adventureseekers #adventurecouple #sustainabletraveller #sustainabletourism #sustainabletourismdevelopment (at Terra Sur Travels) https://www.instagram.com/p/CppinHuO1DV/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

One of the greatest things about the Galapagos Islands is the complete lack of fear on the part of the animals towards humans. They know that they are the masters of the islands and that we are mere spectators. Take this Marine Iguana for example. It couldn't have cared less about my presence or fascination for it. It was there just chilling and living. The perfect example of how the world should be 🧡 . . . . #wildlifephotos #wildlifeofinstagram #wildlife #wildlifephotography #wildlifeplanet #wildlifephotographer #wildlifeaddicts #wildlifeconservation #galapagos #galapagosislands #galápagos #islasgalapagos #galapagos_islands #safari (at Terra Sur Travels) https://www.instagram.com/p/CplEAYeO6ZQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Women make up the majority of the tourism workforce in most regions of the world. If we all stand together, we have the power of changing the way we all travel.
