Found out my Primaries have heard only what they deign to hear. Started (wow, tempvs fugit) twelve years ago and learned just this year I have never seen the specialist I should have seen first. Tell them "We know my heart and stomach are fine from the ER visits, it is something else in that area"... so of course I get scheduled for an endoscopy and an echo-cardiogram. Swelling and irritation below an arm-pit gets me another mammogram. Then I get told there is nothing wrong with the things they did look at which I had told them were fine, while the things I had mentioned continue to get ignored. That classic headstone makes more sense every day: "I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK".

the way that no one wears a mask at my local LGBTQ clinic, and in fact comments on my mask like it's just this hilarious little idiosyncrasy that I still wear one and not because I'm immunocompromised and we're in the middle of a pandemic ... as if there isn't an airborne virus that literally fucks up your immune system ... as if we didn't lose a generation of queer people to another virus that fucks up your immune system ...

The stats for 2016 were something like only 36% of registered voters actually got out and voted... total, for BOTH candidates. He lost the popular vote by only 3M. For scale, NYC is 8.4M. Fetterman had won his mayoral race by literally just one vote. Not voting, is accepting and BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR whatever the consequences are, for good and for ill. If only one person votes for Evil and nobody bothers to vote for Good, then Evil gets elected.

“There’s a great Yiddish expression that says, “If I knew God, I’d be God.” In fact, I think that claiming that you “know God’s will” is an act of incredible hubris. Instead, what we say about God has much more to say about us than about God. And while I can only speak personally here, to me, “God” isn’t really a noun at all — it’s a verb. Here’s why. The most common name that God gives Godself in the Torah is “YHVH,” a name that is sometimes thought to be so holy that no one was allowed to pronounce it. But that’s not exactly right — it’s not that “YHVH” was not allowed to be pronounced, it’s that it is literally unpronounceable, since it consists of four Hebrew vowels (yod, hay, vav and hay). By the way, that’s also why some people incorrectly call this name “Yahweh,” since (as Rabbi Lawrence Kushner once said), if you tried to pronounce a name that was all vowels, you’d risk serious respiratory injury. But even more importantly, the name YHVH is actually a conflation of all the tenses of the Hebrew verb “to be.” God’s name could be seen as “was-is-will be,” so God isn’t something you can’t capture or name — God is only something you can experience. And indeed, when Moses is at the burning bush, having just been told by God that he will be leading the Israelites out of Egypt, he says, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God responds that God’s name is “Ehyeh asher ehyeh,” which is often translated as “I am what I am.” But it could also be translated as, “I am what I will be.” So God is whatever God will be — we simply have no idea. Indeed, for my own theology, I believe that God is found in the “becoming,” transforming “what will be” into “what is.””

I am glad to see he has lived long enough to see a sort of victory as the character has now *finally* entered Public Domain after Diznee has fought so hard to hold exclusive rights (and profits, literally lobbied Congress to change laws) from such an antiquated IP. Seems I had missed my Tumblur anniversary (11/12). Doesn't help I still have not figured out what it does. There is the number "14" next to Activity, but when I click on it, I do not see anything there. I had thought "blogs" meant people would type thoughts and stories here, but I was inundated with follow-me p*rnbots, even moreso that Tw!tter ever did. The past year, have been constantly reminded to stfu and I have no idea what I'm talking about and I'm old and out-of-touch with things/reality. It's no wonder "elders" used to be just 50yo; after that, we just get put on the ice floe with a spear and a sandwich.

Still dunno what to do here. Likely been said elsewhere, but saw another article type thing about The Avengers "time heist" and how could Cap put the stones back where they came from. The thing is... he didn't have to put any of the stones "back" (putting Reality Stone {Aether} back into Jane, meeting Red Skull again). He knew exactly where and when all the other Avengers teams would be, so all he had to do was show up at the proper time and relative dimension in space and hand the ready-made stone he had *to them* which would leave the already existing stone untampered-with; no re-violating Jane, no dying of Nat, no meeting of Agent Smith mk2. Angel Gabriel gets to keep their Time Stone and Camp Lehigh doesn't get broken into because future Cap hands Team NY all three stones, no need to figure out how to get the Space Stone back into the Tesseract cube-form. That Cap likely did go back to 1945-ish, but did *not* hook-up with Peggy of that time. He took a cue from Fury and stayed behind the scenes with the knowledge he has. He left clues for the SSR to find the proper Steve of that time so Agent Carter could have the Captain Rogers she had known. He Left clues so they could also find and rescue Bucky before he was too far Winterized. He led a peaceful delegation to Wakanda and may have still kept their secrets so they themselves could control how much info was released. He helped advance scientific findings for the SSR and eventually SHIELD and set-up better protocol and vetting so Hydra didn't insinuate. Steve was twelve years older (First Avenger to Endgame) and had far too many miles to try and go back to his "old life"; he left that Peggy and Steve alone, though may have still sent holiday cards from "Uncle Tony" and may have even been godfather to Howard Stark's son. With his help advancing science and still having his old time heist wristwatch, they developed a side-slip so he could pay a visit to his older old life as "old Cap", gifting a new shield to Sam which may have been identical to the shield he'd made for the Sam he knew from his "Ideal World". TVA likely left him alone because... well, it's kind of cool if this may have happened in one of their multiverses. People saw Old Steve "OMG WHY DIDN'T HE [do all this stuff and stop bad things and save friends and and and]!!!" In my headcanon, he did all that and saved many lives and prevented lots of badness, hence referring to the branch timeline as "Ideal World". Saved young Steve so he could be with young Peggy, saved Bucky from Hydra, stopped Zola before he started, helped Howard (both Stark and the Duck) be not so distant from his family, likely vacationed in Sokovia, helped Wakanda find a balance of being selective about what info is released so N'Jobu didn't die for his beliefs. "Hey Nat, hey Clint; here's the stone you need. Don't go up that mountain; trust me" as well as "Thor, Rocket. The Aether is already in this stone-shape and here's a spare hammer since this time's Thor will really need his very soon." None of this helps Loki, since he killed his own father in the first movie (Laufey-son, Laufey was about to kill Odin in his sleep) and was responsible for his adoptive mother's death ("to the left"). Huh... Thanos didn't conquer the Nine Realms; maybe Odin was the worse-r villain. That's a different topic, though. This was more to get alt-Cap and Ideal World out of my head.

Regarding Colorado's recent-est shooting (20Nov22). Seeing lots of people praising the unarmed (reported as) combat veteran for taking down (with assistance; more later) the shooter. While it's fine to praise a person's bravery in the face of such danger, people are posting *many* images of the man, man with his wife, man's business (bar) and the business name, repeating that man has children who were at the =>targeted<= event space. Many of these people I have followed for a while and know they have no wicked agenda, they are pretty much doxxing him with all these "good intentions", freely giving out all this information regular doxhunds would have to put forth effort to find. "But the cops will..." will what, pray tell? In the same state Shooters Bobo is a Rep for? I fear for their safety, from "good intentions". As for the assistance. It has been recently called into question whether he is a drag queen or if she is a Trans woman. Semantics to some, but important distinctions to those affected. "Eh, close enough" does *not* count when it comes to who one's Self is. Like the person who told me my father's mother wasn't African because "Morocco isn't in Africa; it's in the Middle East!" However... the way things are now over on Twtr, for all I know the profile claiming she is a Trans woman (while other report he is a drag queen) could also be a falsehood just trying to stir-the-pot to keep things chaotic and encouraging spite-clicks and "I heard/You're wrong" and and and Muskrat looking gleefully at rising engagement numbers. No advertisers, but saw a =F!FA W0rld Cvp= promoted-like tweet from "a proud Q't'ri" because harsh rules are being enforced and "we are not soft" like "the West" and how we should keep our "decadence in [our] own country" [BLOCKED]. Will still try to hold on there until the lights go out or there is new EFFECTIVE management, but... ye gawdz at my age even I am starting to run low of Pure Spite.
