"Peppermint it is then!" His guest appeared to be pleased with the specified drink, somewhat of a relief to Alex, seeing as he hardly drank the peppermint tea. Now would be a good time to make some use out of the unopened box. Turning to smile at the guest, the blonde introduced himself. "Ah, my name is Alexander. It is a pleasure to meet you, Constantine. Now then, if you wouldn't mind following me to the kitchen, I shall prepare the tea."
∆New Guests∆
Something seemed a bit off about the traveler but, seeing as he couldn’t pinpoint what exactly that was, the blonde said nothing about his suspicions. Motioning for the man to come in, Alex was quick to grab a towel and wrap it gently around the other’s shoulders. “Of course it is not too much trouble. Hopefully that will dry you off a bit. Now then, what kind of tea, you asked? I have quite a variety and you are free to choose whichever suits your tastes. There is black, green, white, oolong, peppermint, and chamomile. Or perhaps I could prepare you some coffee if none of those sound pleasing.”

"You need not apologize, Maria-san, it is perfectly alright for you to be here. And yes, of course you may stay. After all, having lovely guests such as yourself is always welcomed. Now then, would you care for anything to eat or drink? Perhaps some tea or wine? Or maybe a bit of cake?" He had felt her jump slightly as the coat was placed around her shoulders but he would mention nothing about it. She seemed to be warming up a bit every minute that went by, so doing something to ruin that would hardly be gentlemanly of him,

Blue eyes were torn away from the important paperwork in his hand when the blonde heard the door. It was raining outside, heavier than usual, and he was almost certain that whoever it was probably needed a warm place to stay through the storm. Pushing himself up out of the chair, he walked out into the main room and smiled at the stranger. “My, do you need a place to stay for the night? It appears to be coming down quite heavy out there. You are free to stay as long as you’d like. Perhaps I could interest you in some tea?”

Where had that pesky cat run off to this time? Racing down the street, the soles of his dress shoes smacking the pavement loudly, Alex could almost see the anger rolling off his own body. The cat was a stray, some sort of breed that had long, soft fur, and it was nice enough but sometimes it had a habit of stealing something of his and running off with it. This time, however, the blonde was determined to get it back. The it, in this case, being a very important document from his desk. And now, as he darted down a random alleyway, blue eyes caught sight of the furry feline and his voice came out in a loud, booming echo, unaware of the other presence nearby. "Dammit you little pest! Give that back this instance! I don't have time for your idiotic game of tag!"

The distrust and hesitance were both obvious as she spoke softly, but it wouldn't be enough to push him away completely. Taking his coat off the hanger by the door, he wrapped it loosely around her form, in an attempt to keep her warm and perhaps get her to relax a bit. "This place? Ah, this is my home, Miss. It is a safe place, do not worry. Now then, I suppose I should properly introduce myself. My name is Alexander and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
