If you keep making a sin that you are addicted to and you can’t stop it. Pray this dua:
اللهُم إحرمني لذة معصيتك وارزقني لذة طاعتك Allahumma Ahrimni Lathat Ma- asiyatak Wa-arzukni Lathat Taa-atak
Oh Allah deprive me of the pleasure of the sin, and grant me the pleasure of your obedience!

If I desire comfort in this world, I would harm my lasting comfort in the hereafter, and if I desired the hereafter, I must renounce comfort in this world, and hence, I decided to give up the ephemeral. Therefore, if you find the same, then it is surely better for you to endure a little discomfort in this life. — Umar ibn Khattaab (May Allah be pleased with him)

“Winter is the believer’s most beloved season. Its nights are long for those who wish to pray, and its days are short for those who wish to fast.”

الروح تحتاج إلى وقت، لكي يتعلم المرء النقاء
Someone once told me, that is not always the mountains that trouble us in our journey but the pebble in our shoe that troubles our climb. Do not let the harshness of this world look down on you if you are behind in whatever you pursue. At times, people forget that we are allowed to struggle. If Allah does not expect perfection from us, then who are we to expect it from each other?

Allāh- our only constant
Time after time I've noticed that when Allāh azzawajal wants to draw his slave closer to him, strengthen him, increase him in taqwa and imaan, he deprives him of company.
And indeed the path to Allah is not easy. There will come situations when you have to choose between the Creator and the creation. The people who you thought loved you will abandon you.
And as they leave, they will leave scars on your heart which none can heal except he, Al-Jabbar.
Situations will push you to the corner and there will be no one for you except Allāh.
Understand that he (SWT) is sifting your circle of people, so that their true colors are now made apparent to you and you are only left f with good company.
Your lord wants you to rely on NONE BUT HIM , ask for help only from him. Only to take him as your source of comfort and tranquility.
And wallahi I tell you the closeness you will feel with Allāh is unmatchable at these difficult times.
No matter how much you pray or read Qur'an or fast, you won't feel the same connection with Allāh as it's just you and him now.
You will discover strengths and potentials you never knew you had.
You will learn to be independent of others and their validation, emotionally and mentally.
You will be concerned about Allah's opinion of you rather than theirs.
Soltitude is sometimes necessary to discover your true self.

THE POWER OF ISTIGHFAR
You will become addicted to asking for forgiveness after reading this ان شاء الله!
A man once came to al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).”
Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” (i.e. say أستغفر)
Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
(i.e. say أستغفر)
The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?”
Al-Hasan al-Basri said,
"This is not my personal opinion,
“Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12]
There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah.
The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains. As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (صلي ألله عليه و سلم).“Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33]
As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, “If anyone continually asks forgiveness, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, relief from anxiety, and will provide for him from where he never realized.” [Abu Dawood, Hadith 599]
THE POWER OF ISTIGHFAR ‘ASTAGHFIRULLAH’
Istighfar (Astaghfirullah) is the gateway of relief and happiness. Whenever you are in distress start reciting it and Insha Allah it will take you out of your anxiety and will put you in a peaceful situation and will give you happiness.
