Who wants to start a writing group with me?

I used to be in one, and it was such a great experience! I met those amazing ladies through a midnight & indigo writing class, and we kept in touch for a couple of years, but eventually everyone got too busy to keep meeting. It’s been about a year now, and I really miss having that community and that space to grow and hone my craft. Earlier, I was bored at work and daydreaming about what it would be like to create a space like that with some of the amazing writers I’ve gotten to know through tumblr over the years…

So, what do y’all think?

I love my people, so I definitely want this group to be for Black writers.

Also, while you don’t have to be queer or a woman to join, you do need to understand that this will not be a safe space for misogynists, homophobes, transphobes, or bigots of any kind.

Well, now that I’ve weeded out the riffraff, who’s interested?
